hygger LCD control automatic pond fish feeder is specially designed for outdoor use, with good waterproof design, it can be installed beside the pond. It will run as what you set, automatically feed fish on time every day. This fish feeder is reliable to use, the capacity of the feeder container is up to 5.5L, can hold 5 pounds of fish food at most, you will no need to worry about your fish starving when you go out for vacation or for work.
Features of this pond fish auto feeder:
- The controller has memory function, it will remember your last settings if the power shut off, run as what you set before when power comes on.
- The LCD screen displays the next feeding time.
- The fish feeder comes with 2 sizes of metering screw stems, you can decide to use small portion or large portion for 1 feeding quantity.
- You can only set the feeding time on the hour, such as 7 o’clock.
- 6 feeding times can be set at most for each day, 9 quantities of portion at most can be set for each feeding time.
- For every auto feeding quantity, the screw stem will rotate for 8 seconds when it reaches the set feeding time.
- Hand feeding at any time, just click the “HAND FEED” button on the controller, the feeding time will last for 30 seconds.
- The fish feed container with a lid, it’s easy to assemble on and off.
Set the controller time to the local time
Before set the feeding time and feeding quantity, you need to calibrate the time to your local current time, it can be set to minutes.
How to set it to the local time?
Press the buttons in turn: CLOCK- SET UP-CLOCK (press many times to choose the hour from 1 to 24)-TIMING(press many times to choose minutes from 1 to 59)-OK(press OK to finish the setting).
Large and small auger
The pond feeder comes with 2 sizes of metering screw stems (Auger), the large is used for large portion feeding, the small is used for small portion feeding.
Please note that the auger will rotate for 8 seconds for each quantity feeding.
If you want the large auger to distribute less fish food, you can use black tape to twine the stems.

- CLOCK--check the current time, set the hour
- TIMING--check the feeding time, set the minute
- QUANTITY-check the feeding quantity
- HAND FEED--one click feeding by hand
- OK--to confirm time or quantity setting has been finished
- SET UP- to go into setting model
How to set the feed times
Set the feeding time:
6 feeding times at most, round hour, incremental.
Press the buttons as below:
TIMING-SET UP-TIMING (select from 1 to 24)-SET UP-TIMING(select from 1 to 24)-SET UP-TIMING (select from 1 to 24)...-OK
How to set the feed quantities
Set the feeding quantity for each feeding time, 1 quantity = the screw stem rotate for 8 seconds.
Press the buttons as below:
QUANTITY-SET UP-QUANTITY (select from 1 to 9)-SET UP- QUANTITY ((select from 1 to 9)-SET UP-QUANTITY (select from 1 to 9)...-OK
Directions for use
- Please don’t submerge the fish feeder under water.
- Please install the feeder base on a hard flat ground, use a drill to drive 4 screws into the ground.
- Before you changing the screw stem, please make sure the food container is empty and the feeder is unplug
- The indicator light on the controller will keep on when the feeder is in hand feeding or auto feeding, it will flicker when feeder is not in feeding model.
- The fish food you put into the feeder should not weight over 5 pounds.
- Don’t put your hand inside the fish food container.
- If you want to stop the auto feeding, please press “OK” button.

Assembly is very easy and operation is easy to program. I didn't think the two different feeders would be necessary, but I use two of them for two different ponds and the different feeders made it easier to program more precisely the amount of food I wanted to feed. Quality appears to be very good. If you disassemble when not needed, make sure you unscrew the correct connectors. There are several connectors which are not meant to be unscrewed even though it is easy to unscrew them by hand. Reservoir holds plenty of food and the lid is nice and secure. Racoons tried to remove the lid and they could not.

My feeder's power cord got chewed up and caused the power to die and go out. I was able to fix this by splicing the power cord, sealing it back up, and I'm back into business.Pros: I loved the flexibility on the scheduling and how you could program the feeding amounts, quantity sizing, and several more options. It was also not too bad from a pricing perspective. I love the battery backup, it seems to keep things charged up for a good couple of days.I've had it all variosions of weather, rain, humidity, snow, freezing arctic blasts, hot summers, and everything in between. Weather has not impacted the feeder or food.The food stays dry, no moisture issues!Nevertheless, it's an awesome feeder.

I got this to try for feeding my outdoor cat while I’m away. It works great!! I screwed it to the deck and have the shoot pointing at his bowl that’s covered by a Rubbermaid tub to keep rain out. I did drill a tiny hole through the lip of the lid and put a screw in it to keep raccoons out of it. What a life and stress savor! It was a little difficult to set up the feeding times and the amount per feeding. But once I got it figured out it works perfect. It even keeps working when the power goes out for a short period. It should be advertised for fish and cat food feeder. I highly recommend it!!

The item was well made and sturdy. We purchased for a small fish pond in our yard. We like to travel from time to time and thought this would be good way to feed fish for a few days. The instructions for setting timers were not clear. We tried several times to adjust settings but each time more food would come out. We tried over several days to reach customer service ( of course at different times to allow for different time zones). Each time we got a recorded message, and were unable to leave message. Frustrated we decided to return the item. Too bad, as this does appear to be a good product, but not if you can not set up properly.

Controller was nice and easily programmed however the servo that drives the auger was DOA. It appeared to me that feeder was repacked (it didn't seem factory packed); also if it was and then recent out as new no one who handled that process actually check to see if the feeder was working properly... I didn't notice anything was wrong until after setting up loading feed and actually attempting to measure output dispensed. Anyway Amazon Customer Service was awesome in helping me get it returned to the seller.

Koi Peeps! I got this for a 14 foot Koi pond for about 15 fish.While it did take me a moment to get through the programing, it then went smoothly. It handled both types of koi food easily. Here's the program in a nutshell. It will only deliver on the hour, so if you set it for 1-7 that's the first feeding at 7am. If you program for 4-21, that's the 4th feeding at 9pm. You can set it to dump for a count of 1 to (I think) 6. Six being quite a bit of food with one being just enough for me which I set to occur twice a day. I set it in a bench vice overnight with a bowl under the spout to see what came out.The folks prior to this that said the programming gave too much food might have not had this gen of timer, not sure, but there are multi levels and if you need less food than "1" you are either starving your fish, or don't have any fish. You may want to take a good look in your pond. (JK)When I go away, I intend to put a bag over the timer since I'm not sure about weatherproofing, but it since it unhooks so easily, seems easy enough to put it in a gallon zip-lock and not worry. For that reason (today) I'm rating it high.I also love that this does not use a battery and by accident I flipped off the switch for an hour and it came right back to the correct time when I put power back on.I set this in place just this week. I will let you know after a few weeks if I have a change of heart or dead fish... I think we will be fine.UPDATE - We just got back from a five day away and arrived at 4:55 so I ran back and saw the food drop at 5:00 as programed. Fish waiting to eat. Works great!

I would give more stars if it is 1) easier to program and 2) adjustable of quantity is more precise and flexible. Programing the time and feedings are rather complicate at first. After a few mistakes then you will understand how it works. The Quantity feeding is given in SECONDS. That is the length of time the plastic screw spins pushing out the pallets. Level one quantity will spin 35 seconds. Level two will double that (70 seconds) there is nothing in between. So if that works for you then you get the good feeder. If not, then there is no way to modify it.....period. There are two plastic screws, one with large space between vein and push out more pallets than the smaller one. I can't imagine using the large one and have it spin in minutes..... judging the silo above it holds only 5.5 pounds of feed.
