This thing has pretty good reviews. The only thing I can think of is the good reviewers are new to the sport. This is a ski line with a wakeboard handle. buy an actual wake board line.

Since I had never wakeboarded before, I didn't want to get an $80+ rope because I knew I wasn't going to be doing tons of tricks. I also read reviews of stating that some of the cheaper ropes act like slingshots due to the amount of stretch in the line. I'm glad I got this rope. It works perfectly for what I needed. I fell a few times and the rope never popped back at the boat.
