This was design for a mobile application but I'm using it as a base station mic holder. The arms made of aluminum and it's a the thumb screw is a quick twist down lock style. Once you tighten it down, it holds the gimble/mount tight and there is no movement at all.No issues with this mount and once you secure the suction mount. It holds the arms super tight and there is absolutely no movement whatsoever. Great mount and again, holds my mic securely with no movement at all. Great product and highly recommend.

This thing is a tank. The suction cup is tacky and locks into place. After locking the cup down it isn't moving and is almost a pain to move. After loosening the knob it's easy to make adjustments and get it set up how you want and then lock it back down. I've got a Retavis RA89 and a mic for a Radioddity DB40G mounted on this and they don't move at all. I honestly didn't expect this to be as well built as it is but what a pleasant surprise. It's a good value and I would highly recommend it.

This is a nice mount for an ht with a mic. The suction cup holds well, even on bumpy roads and keeps things organized and in easy reach when needed.

This is a solid product. I actually took it off of the suction mount and screwed it directly into a receiver in my car dashboard.My UV-5R and Abbree Mic Clips both don't perfectly fit this thing, the UV5R is kind of loose on it, but that's not necessarily the manufacturers fault.I hope this will serve me for years to come.

If you're looking for a heavier duty suction cup mount that holds two radios this is it. This thing really is a tank. It can easily hold my SDS100 and a small ham radio HT without any issue whatsoever. I unscrewed one of the radio mount clips and installed my body cam on the right side and can now mount a radio on the left and my body cam on the right side. I use a body camera for work when I am in the rough areas and remove it from my shirt or jacket and then use it as an interior cab camera. This works perfectly for my purposes. For the price of $30 I would buy this again. I would also buy this to mount on my radio desk with the suction mount. As I was testing it on my desk to install in my truck I had a light bulb moment and could easily find a spot for this in my ham shack. If I had to find one complaint, it is that most of the unit is plastic and the the clips are aluminum. I would have liked to see the crossbar that holds the clips be aluminum as well as it is thin and does flex when pushed on. I do not see this being an issue in the future though. This is a solid unit and I could definitely recommend this.
