Bought for OG black magic pocket. I received the filter and upon trying to mount to my 70-200 Is II, I could not get it to go on. I had a B+W UV Haze 1x MRC on this lens. This filter (the B+W) screws onto my sigma that also has a 77mm filter size. The ICE filter failed to attach properly to both my 70-200 (lens and haze filter mounts) and the sigma. I tried it on my sigma and was finally able to get it to screw on. Threads were tight to start and it would increase and decrease in the pressure needed to screw it on. If I actually cared about this lens, I would never have forced it on this way. This is a sure sign it was out of round. I didn't dare force it into my 70-200. I will try 1 replacement and update my review and rating if I get to test it. If it will not attach, I will stick to quality filters like Tiffen and B+W. I can say I have never had this happen before even with cheaper filters when I was just starting out.**Update** I received my next one and it threaded on, but after half way it stopped (pictures). Long story short I hope it works as advertised because this filter is now stuck on a $2000 lens. Really not impressed. I have 1 more coming in 67mm and will review that one separately. Maybe it is just an issue with the 77 mm filters? If not, I will find a way to get the 77 off my lens and return both of them.

Vergleichbare UV/IR Cut Filter von anderen Herstellern sind deutlich teurer und bieten in meinen Augen die selbe Qualität nur der Filterrahmen wirkt etwas "billig" aber das stört nicht solange er befestigt ist :)

It's effective in removing IR Pollution on my Pocket 4K. I would highly recommend.Shipping is fast as well considering I am in the Philippines. It only took 1 week for it to arrive.

UV filter in a nice case with a cloth. Fit as expected, original lens cap fits better with the filter on. The coating was damaged, more or less circular damage and linear scratches. Difficult to get a clear picture of the coating on the filter. I don't expect to see much of it in the pictures and the filter does what I bought it for, a physical protection of the camera lens. Will replace it soon though.

did not introduce detectable color cast to daytime shots. solar images (nikon D850 through baader film) seemed slightly sharper than without filter, probably due to rejection of UV.as others have said, the thread tolerance is a bit tight, making it difficult to screw in and remove rapidly.

The ICE 77mm UV IR Cut Filter is designed to block both ultraviolet and infrared light, allowing only visible light to pass through the lens. This can help to prevent color shifts and reduce haze in your photographs. It is made of optical glass and has a multi-coated surface to help reduce reflections and improve image quality.Overall, the ICE 77mm UV IR Cut Filter seems to be a good option for photographers looking to reduce color shifts and improve image quality. However, it may not be the best choice if you are concerned about vignetting or if you need a filter that blocks only UV light or only IR light.

If infrared pollution is an issue with your camera when using some ND filter, that little IR filter might be just the thing you need to keep your image clean!

The BMPCC 4K does not have an IR filter over the sensor, which causes blacks to shift slightly red when using an ND filter. This filters does an excellent job of minimizing this effect.

Is effective at cutting IR pollution with heavy ND on my BMPCC 4k which has IR issues with ND. I have not done much for comparisons but I feel when focusing that I never can quite get it to focus as sharply as I can without it. It is not a terrible softening effect to the point that its useless. Another issue is that the thread tolerances are tighter than those on my other filters, it doesn't go on as smoothly as my other branded filters. The benefits seem to outweigh the negatives with IR pollution.
