THIS IS AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!! I USE IT FOR DUST CONTROL IN MY COVERED RIDING ARENA. I HAND SPREAD IT LIKE SEED AND IT ELIMINATES DUST. SIMPLY SPREAD IT AND LEAVE OVERNIGHT AND IT ATTRACTS MOISTURE FROM THE AIR AND KEEPS MY SAND DAMP FOR MANY MONTHS I ALSO HAVE A HORSE EXERCISER THAT IS UNCOVERED. I PUT IT DOWN AFTER MOST OF THE RAIN HAS STOPPED ( I LIVE IN WA ) AND IT LASTS THE WHOLE SUMMER DUST FREE. GREAT PRICE

While this was the recommended choice for ice melt options that won’t harm the lawn, it does not get the job done anywhere near as well as rock salt, and this is a danger and a legal failing if someone should get hurt on our walkway.
