My daughter and I went onto a trip. I gave her 1 spoon to use and 1 for me. She thought it was the neatly spoon she had ever seen in her life. She like it a lot. Me too. We both sip our coffee. 5 stars!!

I took my elderly parents out for a smoothie and we were given biodegradable straws - great in principle but they totally collapsed after a few sips. We really needed a spoon and a straw. I don't participate in plastic straws or spoons but we needed both, and we needed them to be sturdy and reusable. I came up with the idea of a straw-spoon and asked my son who is a metalworker if he could make this by welding. We discussed different design options that would allow full use of the straw and spoon (which is better on top, spoon or straw?). I took a look online to see if someone had already made such a thing and voila! There were a number of choices. I chose this product because it looked study, rounded (not sharp edges) and was economically priced compared to others. I didn't have high expectations but the product is great, just what I was hoping for - study, a good length, nicely rounded for comfort of tongue/mouth. I was so happy to try these out with my parents on their next smoothie adventure and my son was relieved that he was off the hook to make them!
