With any of ICON’s color options you can know they are UV-protected. White, Clear or any of the Smoke options have material that is protected. Nothing is worse than having a nice viewport become hazy, yellowed and less aesthetically pleasing due to UV damage.

Nobody wants to have a vacation cut short due to a very vital component such as your skylight failing. Skylights are not only exposed to sunlight and UV, but they can also be subject to intense weather, hail, tree branches and other such impacts. This is why ICON uses a THICK polycarbonate material that results in domes that have unmatched impact resistance.
Beyond material, important design considerations have been made to improve the durability of ICON skylights. Simple, but meaningful trimming is done to prevent flange lifting and to create an effective surface to seal to the RV roof. Pre-drilled holes are provided on the flange for most models. These holes are enlarged to allow for expansion and contraction at the mechanical fastening point.

First, prepare your roof surface by removing the old or damaged skylight, ensuring a clean and smooth base for the new dome. Then, apply the specially formulated ICON Skylight sealant generously around the opening where the skylight flange will rest. This sealant not only creates a watertight bond but also simplifies the installation, allowing for easy adjustments. Next, carefully position the dome over the prepared opening, and secure it in place using the screws.

Was slightly smaller than the original that it replaced, and had to Redrill all the holes, feels like decent quality, and lets in lots of light!

We’re renovating a truck camper and while repairing the roof and bad seals, we ordered a new skylight for the bathroom. The difference is like night and day! This window is crystal clear and allows so much light to shine through. Really glad we replaced it!

I installed it as a skylite on a camper. It was very easy to install once I cut a opening in the roof. It served the purpose as expected adding a lot of daylight in the camper.

This was the perfect size to cover the vent opening in the roof of my camper (vintage Santa Fe compact restoration, follow @vintage_rivalist in IG to see). I got the clear one and it is stupid strong and sturdy, but still flexible enough that it won’t crack when some pressure is applied. I used rv lap sealant and self tapping roofing screws to put it on, just in time because it rained the next day. It did fine.

I was pleasantly surprised with this skylight. It's crystal clear and fit exactly as described. The holes didn't line up with where my previous ones were on my class A motorhome (only reason it loses a star!) but it was easy enough to drill new ones through it and it didn't crack! Sealed up perfectly with dicor, now I have a sklylivht above my bed to look at the stars at night! The quality is great as well - it's really thick so you know it's not going to crack. It also arrived in a great padded shipping box.

Perfect! The skylight on our 2006 camper (bathroom shower) had broke so we needed to replace it. We were having the house painted and the painter just threw an ordinary cloth tarp over the camper to avoid overspray and it was so brittle it broke! This one is so much thicker than the thin cheap plastic one that was originally on there so it should last for many years to come. I'm really glad we chose the clear - it really brightens it up and it's nice being able to look up and see the blue sky. The order was shipped immediately and we got it sooner than expected which was so nice to be able to fix it right away. It's very easy to install. Thank you!
