This paper has a weird quality. It’s shiny and looks like glitter, but it’s a sort of textured shiny paper. I like this, as it means that I don’t have glitter falling everywhere, but if you’re looking for actual glitter then this is not for you. The weight is about like card stock.

This paper peeled apart into several layers when I used a hole punch on it. One layer is even sticky like a sticker. I was under the impression this was PAPER when I ordered it. If there’s adhesive in it, how is that paper? I’m disappointed, because that is NOT what I needed when I ordered gold paper. There’s also a layer of silver inside. Again, I’m just confused by this product.

I don't know why it doesn't mention that this is adhesive backed glitter paper in the description, but it is definitely sticker paper. It's a very high quality, super shiny and gorgeous sticker paper and I LOVE it. But if you're looking for card stock or actual paper paper, you're going to be quite disappointed.Works great with my Cricut (only on the lightest mat, though. If I used the medium mat, the sticky part tried to come loose during cutting. I don't know why. I'm new to Cricut. But that's what worked for me.) and it looks amazing. I love, love, LOVE that this isn't getting glitter all over the place. It's just perfectly shiny glitter paper and it looks amazing.Really glad I got it. Just know that it's sticker paper.

I was inspired to try this gold glitter paper based on a coloring book I have with metallic backgrounds around the drawings that really make the finished coloring page look great. So I used this glitter paper as a background for my own drawing and painting with watercolor pencils and acrylic paint pens, some metallic or semi-gloss. Most work with various effects depending on what you enjoy. Watercolor pencils work great, producing translucent bright colors when I paint my drawing with a plain water pen afterwards. The gold glitter paper gives a lovely undertone to one layer of pencil. Adding more color turns the gold into more of an accent shimmer. If you are like me and always itching for more color and sparkle, you'll like that metallic outline paint pens (retro 1980s, iykyk) produce a different effect on the gold glitter paper. The metallic silver ink takes on the color of the outline from the pen, making silver-toned colors where the plain silver ink would usually be.

This gold glitter paper has it all -- dazzling sparkle that does not fall off, gorgeous gold color, and last but not least, it sticks! I peeled off the white paper backing and found the reverse side of the gold paper is adhesive. It's a bit hard to get the two layers separated -- I had to tear a small corner off the paper to get a hold on the white paper to peel it off. But once I got started, it peeled off as easily as layers of an onion. I'll be giving this as a birthday present to a friend who makes greeting cards. She'll be in seventh heaven!

This gold paper is definitely flimsy like a regular piece of paper and not stiff like card stock. The gold is sparkly and one sided meaning the back of the piece of paper is white not gold. It is quite sparkly and beautiful and can be used for all kinds of crafts from scrapbooking, the card making, etc. it does have a smooth texture, so you could easily print on it. The white back peels off because it is sticker paper so if you cut pieces out for scrapbooking, it’s super easy to apply.

Nice, even color and glitter. Nothing fell off taking it out so it seems good quality. It's thick, but flexible. It actually felt almost like wallpaper! Beautiful paper for scrapbooking.

Ok so normally I would knock something down for such a glaring detail missing from the description because that's a huge, important detail. But I love adhesive glitter paper. It is expensive and hard to find some that is good quality and not super thick and expensive. So I am so surprised and thrilled that I just don't care to take off some starts. Hope we get some variety color packs for the same price range.
