Ordered and installed these in place of the original torx+ bolts GM used on the 4L60 transmission. They fit great and are excellent quality. The torque converter does not touch them when everything is fully assembled and bolted up, the torque converter will only touch the head of these bolts when it is slid as far as mechanically possible onto the transmission input shaft, this is not an issue once the torque converter is bolted to the flywheel!

These are a great idea, and would probably work fine on a 298mm setup. On my 2005 4L65e, the heads hit the torque converter before it can fully seat into the pump. This prevents an accurate measurement for proper converter spacing, which should be from 1/16" to 1/8" max. anything more, and your converter does not mesh deep enough in the pump drive, and will fail early. The converters for the newer 300mm transmissions are thicker and are more of a balloon shape. I'm going to try and machine the heads down a bit and see if I get lucky, if not, I'll have to go back to the T-50+ bolts. Disappointing.

Great bolts for a 4L60, the star pattern ones require a special bit to remove, my torx bits bounced off a little cheewing up some, had to cut them to remove, I know for a fact this replacement set won’t be having that problem should I ever need to remove the bell housing again.

Worked perfectly. Wanted normal bolts instead of the tp55 bolts since one of them were stripped and had to rattle loose with air hammer. Fitment is great even with FTI 3k stall converter.

During the transmission removal, some of the case bolts were lost. I could not find a suitable replacement locally. These bolts are an exact replacement high-strength with a Torx head, and are easy to get back into position when using a long extension to access the upper transmission case bolts.

As you might know, GM' design for the torx bolts that connect the bell housing cover to the 4L60E is atrocious. Good luck getting the old ones out, lol. I used a drill with a hardened metal bit and then used a cutting wheel to flatten the heads. Once the cover was off, I used vice-grips to get the remaining studs out. However, once that's done, these bolts are just what the doctor ordered.
