Works on my 1 ton HF stand. The engine is a 5.3 gen 3 motor. Not sure what year engine but the knock sensors are in the valley pan and cam sensor is in the back so its a gen 3 for sure. I used the short bolts and so far so good

For those wondering, it will fit most LS engines. It will come with 8 bolts. 4 of these will fit an ls engine. I have an ls1 on a jeg stand and it holds it very good so far.

Solid bolts that will not fail you. I've had a complete to semi complete LS V8 sitting on a stand with these bolts for about 4 months and hasn't moved and inch. Well worth purchasing highly recommend.
