there is no bottom to these which means I can't put it on the deck or I'll ruin the wood. I can't put it in the yard because critters can dig right under it. Very disappointed. Money down the drain. I could have made a better one out of a trash can.

Pros- size. It will hold plenty of vegetation, plain cardboard, paper, etc.Cons- You have to hold the lid or prop it open. There is no mid-shelf. It would benefit from a grate for materials to filter down through. The "door" at the bottom is a bit misleading, as there is no bottom to the bin so it cannot be moved once you have material in it.So, consider your needs and placement before buying.

I wish I had found this before buying the more expensive tumbling composters. It works great and is easy to remove the completed compost from the bottom. Highly recommend!

Pretty much just a simple square tower without a bottom. Good place to store my mostly finished compost. The lid does have to catches that work well to hold it down even in very strong winds.
