Very nice kit, the tools that are included are great to use. Packaging is great as well. Everything feels high quality. I had the battery replaced in no time, and got my 30gb Ipod Classic playing music again!! Thank you iFixit!!

This battery and tool kit fit and worked perfectly in my Ipod classic Gen5. The Ifixit website had great essy to follow instructions. The ipod case is tricky to open but if you are patient and careful it will.I am pleased that my Ipod began charging up and worked right away.

I was apprehensive about replacing the battery in an old I Pod but when I saw the instructions online I decided to give it a try.Between the online instructions and the tool kit they sent it was really simple.

For the price, you really can't complain. The quality of the set seems pretty good. Ive seen other people in the reviews say that some bits are bent. I only got one bit that was slightly bent, and that was one of the multiple sim card ejectors. The set comes with a ton of bits and different tool that I think could get just about any job done on an electronic device. The handle has a couple options for getting in tight spaces and has a nice magnet that is quite helpful in not dropping screws. I would have liked if it would have came with a few larger Philips bits, as the ones that come with it aren't too big which can be hard if your working on something larger, like a tv. It comes with a nice magnetic sheet which you can organize your screws with and make sure you don't lose them. Overall, Id say, if you have the budget, go with something like I fix it, as I would expect it to be slightly better quality and maybe have more bits, but for something cheap, I think this is a great option that is very comparable in just about everything to a more expensive kit.

It arrived today (not expected), as I ordered it for an old iPod to replace it's batteryI'm not a tech expert but when I open the iPod, the included tools are great and I believed more than it's worth because it didn't even broke like the common free tools from... (You know where).I installed it very quick (I think less than 5 mins from prying to powering the iPod) and in closing it (attaching the back cover)I will get this brand when I will replace the battery of my old Samsung tablet (if it's available)Thanks and I recommend it to DIYers like me!!!
