Weyersberg – a German toolmaker whose origin dates back to 1787 when it began manufacturing swords, knives, and bayonets in the famous blade-making city of Solingen. Joining in Gebr. Weyersberg’s expansion into Central America as business development and investment partners were the Deutsche Entwicklungsgesllschaft (DEG) of Germany, Adela Investments Company from Luxemburg, and a group of Central American investors – mainly Salvadorians. In 1987, a consortium of distinguished and diverse Central American business leaders acquired the company and actively directed plans for dynamic future growth, installing a new management team and providing significant capital investment. In the years since IMACASA has built upon its excellent reputation for the quality of its products and for its customer service, and distribution centers have been opened in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama to accommodate steady increases in market share throughout the Americas. The company’s product offering has also grown to meet rising demand, and manufacturing capabilities have been expanded accordingly. In 2004 Imacasa decided to develop a first quality line of knives and tools for the North American and European outdoor markets. Condor Tool & Knife was born.

This is just a piece of nylon fabric folded in half, sewn and riveted. It has absolutely no stiffness to it. Really disappointed with it. Cannot recommend it.

If you need a sheath to store a machete, this will do. If you actually want to use it for carrying with you, forget it. First time I put it on my belt to do some trail work. Within an hour it was cut through and flopping around on my hip. For the price and cheap materials, didn’t expect much. But was hoping it would last a few uses much less a few hours….

This sheath needs to be about 1/2 the price. However I just wanted something to mount to my tractor, because I often drive around low branches, and it's just easier to machete them sometimes. So this holds my little machete well in a fixed location. If I was walking and wanted something on my belt to hold my blade, I would skip this one, likely for a leather one (or canvas-wrapped plastic at least).
