It worked for about 5 minutes until the switch got really hot and then quit working. It smelled like burnt plastic. I cut off the switch and put a new plug on the end and now it works fine. It will occasionally trip a GFCI outlet, so be sure you have a non-GFCI outlet available.I'd advise buying one without a switch on the cord.

I bought this because my hot water heater crapped the bed and I had to wait until I could get someone to install a new one it warmed about 10-15 gallons of water nice enough for a shower in about 10-15 minutes I followed the instructions to a tee the container I used was a 20 gallon plastic garbage can and it worked perfectly.

When it gets cold down here, we'd have to truck hot water to the barn so the horses could drink. This product solve that problem. Plug it in. Heat the water. Our Percheron gets his daily intake of H2O.

Not all campsites that we go to have showers, so we can now create our own. Heats the water quickly.Compact size is great. The color yellow for us makes it easy to locate in all our camping gear.

It works great to heat the water in my Coleman inflatable hot tub. I submerge the heater without it touching the tub, using a long-handled broom across the width of the hot tub, and wrap the cord around the handle a few times to hold it in place. It comes in handy to get the water up to temperature fast. I also use it to raise the temperature a few degrees on frigid days because I know the tub will lose a few degrees once the cover is off, and it only takes about 20 minutes.
