The most accurate description is on that packaging! I have had weighed blankets from other manufacturers and let me say this one is the one you are looking for!! I struggle with anxiety that triggers issues falling asleep and staying asleep. This blanket helped me so much!The size was true to its description. It's soft and luxurious which I expect from the more expensive blankets but this one was affordable AND high quality. It's machine washable and that's a big perk for my high traffic home. I don't have time to take this 20 lb blanket to the dry cleaners or spend more money on covers.I run cold at night so this was just right for me but all the fuzzy snuggly qualities made my husband sweat so I will probably order another smaller one for summer time. For the remainder of this winter I look forward to enjoying finally some high quality and much needed full night's of sleep.

Very comfortable weighted blanket. I knew from how heavy it was when in the packaging that it was exactly what I wanted. The original packaging it came in was nice and the blanket came vacuum sealed. I have had soft furry blankets before and when washed they usually come out with a matted texture, but this one washed well and didnt tear in any places. If you feel through the blanket you can tell it is made up separate squares filled each filled with beads. This really helps it to put the weight around your body.This is not relevant to the review but I noticed in the care instructions it said 'Do not Microwave or Dry clean' and I can't help but wonder who is putting this heavy thing in the microwave for that to be a concern.Overall, would recommend.

I’ve never had a weighted blanket and omg I will never not have one now. This is such a perfect weight, great size even for my king bed. It doesn’t cover the whole bed but is enough for my shoulders to feet. So soft- my cats love laying on this.

This weighted blanket is super cozy and comfortable! It is heavy to move around but works perfectly to keep on the bed and layer it. The weight is not overwhelming at all. Great value for the money. Super warm and cozy. Love the color, material, and durability. Size is also perfect. Will be purchasing more in the future.

This blanket is absolutely beautiful. It looks and feels. Than it actually is. Super soft the colors is beautiful and it’s just the right thickness. I will say, though, it is very very heavy. Almost too heavy. Don’t expect this blanket to be your throw blanket that you can move from bed to couch or to wherever. I have a hard time moving it on my own, but it is super cozy underneath it.

This blanket is soft and plush. Because it is weighted, it doesn't move about and it keeps me cosy and warm.I had been sleeping badly before I bought this and this blanket has got me sleeping well again.Perfect for cold wintery nights.

this blanket was a christmas gift for my niece. It came exactly as described and she loves it!! She is 14 and the 12lb weight was just right. It's very soft and cozy and yes it's a little heavy for lugging around....but it's a weighted blanket!! I would recommend this product!
