I have a Kenmore water softener and my old gasket was worn and flimsy, so my water softener was not able to flush the salt water through to clean the beads in the tank. The Impresa venturi water gaskets work like a dream! I tried a few of the cheaper brands and they just didn't work.These ones are thick and heavy duty. They don't have the '10' stamped on them but work just as well, if not better, than my original gasket.At first I thought it was bad that the venturi imprint was not on them. But come to find out, it's not supposed to be! That V shaped imprint means its getting worn out. Who knew?!

This venturi gasket fits my Whirlpool WHES33 water softener perfectly. I have had several incidents of water accumulating in my water softener. I took this opportunity when replacing the venturi gasket to also clean out the whole venturi nozzle assembly. It's a small and easy job. Unlike the original gasket that came with my water softener, this replacement gasket doesn't have a number stamp on the gasket so you can install it on either side.

These may be fine if this is indeed your problem. Didn't fix water stuck in my tank. Now I've decided the problem is age so I'm gonna need to buy a new softer. Due to the short time (30 days) now offered by Amazon for returns means I'm out this cost and will buy more things at Costco in the future.

Perfect - this little washer / venturi gasket fixed the problem with the water softener filling with water and not draining after its recharge. Inexpensive little washer saved me from having to buy a several hundred dollar new water softener unit!
