I bought these to try on panfish with my Tenkara rod in FL and they are amazing! I highly recommend you trim them down and even totally cut one side near the eyelet of the hook off and about a 0.25” to 0.5” off the tail. This will allow you to catch panfish in the correct size range for the hook. Although I got loads of bits most wouldn’t hold on so idk what that was about. However when they did hold they pretty much swallowed the hook.

Highly effective. Caught Bluegill, Bass, Tilapia and Carp on these fly's. Had most success with red and pink. No takers on neon.

I fished these out at a warm water urban pond in Los Angeles and caught about 5 panfish and a trout within the timespan of an hour using a tenkara rod. Definitely a fan. Had some bites in some otber creeks as well.
