Mine arrived with a broken hinge on the case, but I really needed some of these nuts, washers, and bolts so I didn't bother to try to return.

Very nice assortment, as described organized in a container. Exactly what I was looking for, a whole set for what you pay for a single size large pack at the hardware store. Including them hex wrenches was a nice bonus!

I generally don’t use a lot of small bolts, so when I took this box of assorted bolts out of the shipping box I was pretty amazed at the quantity and how well they stayed sorted during shipping. I don't think I will be going to the store anytime soon for small bolts.The caseThe case is well laid out with bolts going from small to large in a left to right pattern. Nuts and washers are in the lower row which is also well laid out. The case has movable dividers that actually stayed in place during shipping. I’ve had parts cases in the past where the dividers have shifted during shipping, only to have a complete mess on your hands. Both the hinges on the back of the case and the latches on the front of the case were in one piece. Once again I’ve had cases in the past where hinges and latches were broken off. Another thing I liked about the case was they placed the diagram on the inside of the case so it’s facing you when you open it. Other cases have had them on the bottle of the case so you had to close it and flip it over each time.TestingTest one. I spun the nuts on the bolts freely with no rough finishing on the threads to impede the process.Test two. I placed a nut in a vice and spun a screw into it by hand. Afterwards I used an old Allen key to see if I could strip the head out. Results being that I was not able to strip the head out. Bare in mind I only did this with an Allen key by hand and not while using a drill driver or similar tool.Test three. Once again with a nut in the vice and no screw placed in it, I squeezed it in the vice with little effort needed. The metal that they are made of I’m guessing is in the mid/mild range, yet suitable for their intended purpose, considering their sizes .Allen keysA set of Allen keys are included in the case, they seem adequate for the job. I will probably replace them with my own set that are connected together, as small Allen keys are easily lost.Online photoThe photo online that shows the contents of the box with the lid open is a little misleading, as it shows each cube filled to the top. Let’s just say it’s more like opening a new bag of potato chips, not quite as full as it seems.In all, I now have at my disposal an assortment of small metric bolts, nuts and washers. They are well organized and stored in a case just right for its contents.Like I said earlier, I won’t be buying small metric bolts any time soon.

I just got these today and they have already been put to good use. I used the M5 X 12 bolts to replace those which were supplied with a propane burner for outdoor cooking. For some crazy reason the unit was supplied with flat head, counter sunk type bolts but there was no place in the unit for the counter sink part of the bolt to go. Consequently, the head of the bolt stood proud of the cooker's top and would catch on anything that moved close by. Also, the bolts were soft enough that I tore three of the Phillips #2 centers out of the bolts when tightening them. Not a good sign.The bolts in this set are a rounded socket head style with four lengths supplied (8, 12, 16, & 20mm) for each bolt size (M2, M3, M4, & M5). Also supplied are flat washers, split-ring lock washers, and hex nuts for each size of bolt. All pieces are a black alloy steel of Grade 12.9 which is a high tensile strength alloy steel (with a high yield strength) and is nearly twice as strong as stainless steel. In my application, these bolts worked perfectly, and I had no trouble really tightening them down.This selection comes in a multi-sectioned see-through plastic case which keeps everything well organized, and the lockable top will keep it that way. Also included in the kit are Allen wrenches which will fit the socket heads of the bolts supplied. Thank you so much for the assistance with that. Just what I needed and very quickly delivered. So this is a nice little set of screws/nuts/washers/lockwashers in small metric sizes, and they were nice enough to include appropriately sized hex keys for all of them, so for your $21 dollars you really get a lot of value and usability out of this set, I have very few complaints about it, one of the minor ones I do have is that the bin it ships with, while very nice, does not technically have enough slots for all the different sizes of fasteners to have their own slot, so for example some of the washers are doubled up in bins with one of the sizes being held in a little plastic baggy, this works fine it's just slightly less convenient. Having previously been a sales rep and product specialist for nuts/bolts Initially I was a bit concerned about the validity of the grade 12.9 rating as it just seemed fishy to me out of the gate, so I thought to give them a brief test, and while it is difficult to say for certain if these hold up to the grade 12.9 standard, I can say that they are almost certainly strong enough for the kinds of applications that most people will use screws of this size for, being mindful that once you get into the really small sizes like the M2, even at grade 12.9 it doesn't take a lot of force to snap them.

Great assortment kit. Easy to find exactly what you need at a glance. Everything is marked nicely. I doubt I will be running out of anything soon. Saves so many trips to the hardware store.
