I like this lil 'o $10 camera... It works really well for me... The only thing for me is the settings ..they aren't really clear.

It's a nice little pet cam. I like that i can move it around to whichever spot I need it, or anchor it to the wall via sticky tabs or screws. I don't love that it doesn't look downwards, but this can generally be remedied when stuck on the wall, at least to some degree. It has a long enough cord, but it might be difficult to hide and isn't long enough to put up in the corner of a room. It doesn't move to capture motion, but does send alerts when it sees a person. For those reasons, I took off a star.I can talk to my dogs through it. I can take a picture and record video from in the app also. There's an alarm and ways to change the type of light (night/day). You can insert an sd card for local storage or subscribe to the cloud for saved storage. They have some good prices for subscriptions, 7 Day alarm storage for 1 year: $40, 7 day alarm storage for one month: $0.10 (pretty good); 30 Day alarm storage 1 month: $6.99; 30 Day alarm storage 1 year: $69.99. The features include cloud storage, unlimited space, alarm video, offline playback, safe and reliable, and playback at increased speeds. If I were going to diy a security system, the dime a month would be a pretty good deal, even if you have to pay for a couple of cameras' storage (though maybe it's just one time? Not sure since I only got one). I like that even without the subscription, it still saves pictures of when it detects a person. It was fun to talk to my dogs through the camera, and gave them a funny and nice surprise to hear from us when we were gone. The camera has a good picture and isn't blurry. Night vision is clear and in black and white. It was simple to set up and sends notifications when needed. I can see them live and talk to them. The app is easy to understand and use. It's a pretty good diy security camera for crated pets.

Not to horribly bad. I still rather have a system that uses wire and has a dedicated control base. It was a time consuming and frustrating process for my set up experience.Upfront what happened was that I typed my way too long secured password off by one case size. as I went through the help files there was a section that reads about your password can't be used with special characters. I contacted the company via Not live messaging but i got a reply back in a respectful amount of time of a few minutes give or take. they confirmed what was written about the passwords and that the code or programing was not set-up for Characters.So here is the thing. After I finally figured out what I did wrong. Their programing will allow for special characters. so don't take all documentation to seriously and take your time. It has 2 lights that remain on if toggled in the app and don't turn off. Not sure if they are set to turn off automatically when exposed to light or not. The microphone needs to be operates within the app by press - hold - speak - release. As you may notice it is top heavy but the company supplies a magnetic base plate. Video quality is not bad. The speaker could be a bit louder, it does serve its purpose though. Microphone works good. With the one that I got, when it is extended on the mounted lift it will not hold well. I purchased the camera because some of the reviews were good. I regret buying it. I’ve had many home cameras and this is by far is the worst. I tried to use in the window to watch my outdoor area and it only reflected the window back to me day and night. I purchased the cloud storage and it only records 10 seconds of activity skips minutes of recording between activities and records duplicates for 5/10 minutes. When I play back there’s several 10 seconds videos of the same action. Definitely do not recommend this one.
