So far so good. Very easy to install. Very easy to clean. We do have to use the vent in the laundry room due to heat. Perfect for our needs as our dryer hose kept coming unattached to the floor vent. I would recommend.

Easy to install following instructions. Looks great, high quality, no bad odors, takes up less space then the old water basin style vent, plus no refilling water needed.

I put an extra washer and dryer in my laundry room. This is a great option to not have to put another hole in the wall to the outside. Works very well- no dust comes out. The flap works to show you when to replace filter and clean. Very please with it.

Filter unit was easy to assemble and install. I installed ours on the wall about three feet above the dryer which is sitting on a small table. Since the filter will exhaust the air (temperature and moisture) from the dryer some people may have a problem with adding heat and moisture to their room. We do not dry any clothes in hot air so we only get warm air out of the filter which works well for us. Since we have only used it for a short time I will have to see how the filter material holds up to cleaning. At the moment I don't see any info anywhere as to where to buy additional filter material. I'll probably buy material that looks the same as original and cut it to size if necessary.

I love being able to release the heat and moisture from my dryer into my house during the winter and colder months. The filter works very well trapping the lint. Easy to install and during the summer I just dismount it and store it and reattach the outside vent.

I really like the fact this device has allowed us to use our dryer inside the house without all of the extra lint being filtered out. It would be perfect if the "Reminder Device" functioned as designed. I did test it when I first put it together and it did open. However, that is not the case now. I realize it needs to be cleaned if a load is not dried the first time around. I just clean the compartment and replace the old filter.

This is exactly what we needed for our Electric Dryer as it would have been a hassle to run an outside vent. Plus I wanted the dryer to be easily movable so I rigged this to attach to the dryer instead of the wall.INSTALL NOTE: The little square metal, which let you know when it's time to clean your filter, is a smart addition... but you know how instructions can be... How it works: Your dryer vents with strong airflow and all of that air passes through your new (and clean) filter. As your filter collects lint, pressure builds up in the filter. The filter contains a little door flap that is designed to pop open as that pressure builds, signaling its time to clean your filter (remove the lint). They give you 3 pieces of metal that match the square shape of the door flap (with an adhesive). Your job is to determine how many to install according to your dryer which is very easy to do. Start with affixing 1 metal square to the flap door. Turn on your dryer and assimilate lint blockage by simply covering the outside of your vent (about 50%) with anything to build pressure. I used a book. If it pops open, add a 2nd metal plate on top of the first. If it does not open, then use your book to cover more of the vent. You are looking for the door to pop open when the blockage is about 75%. My dryer is small and it used 2 metal plates, i suspect bigger dryers will use all 3. Hope this explanation AND the instructions with diagrams helps you.
