I think this is my fourth or fifth camping pillow over the years because apparently my head is too big or pointy or something and they keep breaking. I've considered transitioning to a more traditional filled pillow, but I keep going back to inflatable because they offer better support for me without taking up as much space. I'm hoping this one will last for a little longer than some of the past ones and it does seem like a little better quality. There are a few things about this one that I really like compared to the others. First, the flocked design is nice because it adds a little bit of softness and texture to the pillow helping it stay in place. Since I'm also typically camping at elevation where it's a little cooler, I also like that it will help insulate me from the cold ground. It is easy to fill with air to the desired amount because it offers a no leak valve that allows air in but not out. The instruction say it takes about 5 breaths to fill, but I was able to do it in three. To deflate, just unplug that valve and you're set to pack it away. It stores in an attached pocket that straps to the back when you're using it. It's an interesting design that keeps the bag out of the way while sleeping, but also keeps it from getting lost somewhere else. I have had pillows that position the valve or pump in odd places that make it uncomfortable to sleep and I was concerned about this one a little. The valve is on the bottom so that's not an issue but there are plastic clips on the sides that looked like they would be a problem. Not so once I actually tested it out. They are a bit big and bulky, but I didn't even notice them while laying there and I'm sure there is a way to use them to secure it to a camp chair or something if you wanted to use it that way. I won't, but I also won't judge you if you do. Oh, and it also came with a cooling/heating pad. There are no instructions on how to use it without destroying it so it will be a bit of a gamble, but it was also an added bonus and I'm not sure if I will actually use it or not either. If I had to identify a down side, the only thing I can think of is that the bag doesn't really seem to close completely meaning your pillow could potentially get dirty. But take care of your stuff and your stuff will take care of you.

This pillow is super compact and easy to inflate. In order to inflate it, it has a large hole for a quick inflation and then a smaller hole that you use to make it as hard or soft as you want.It comes with a microfiber sham that is super soft. In the top of the long edge you can put the ice/hot pack that comes with it. Note that there are no instructions on how to heat the pack so we will not be using that.There are hanging hooks on each side of the pillow to hang it.I love that the small bag stays attached to the pillow so there is no way of us loosing it.The only thing that I didn't like was that the pillow sham is not detachable so you can't wash it in the washing machine.

This item is a basic functional product, an inflatable pillow that holds air as it should and is able as comfortable and portable as expected.I would recommend searching on amazon using features in the description to see the variety of similar products. The list price of $14 at time of review is slightly higher than very, very similar products.

I ordered this pillow because i've had trouble sleeping on others that were just the typical inflatable (material similar to an inflatable mattress) and this one looked looked like it had a soft fabric top to it. IT DOES! I took this on a recent trip to Peru where it came in super handy. The pillow actually only takes like 5 deep breaths to fill up quickly. So far it's been comfortable and durable and soft. The pillow easily fits in the built-in storage bag which is made out of a durable material to keep it clean and dry. What surprised me was that the storage bag is attached and clips on both sides when the pillow is inflated. I thought this was kind of dumb at first and would be uncomfortable, but I actually didn't notice it at all when sleeping and at least this way the bag never gets misplaced.I haven't tried the hot/cold pack yet. There weren't any directions with it so i'm a little unsure how to use it properly whether I need to microwave/freeze it or what the proper way to use it is without breaking it. Overall a comfy pillow at a great value!

This is exactly the kind of pillow I was looking for. Small and light, it gets perfectly comfortable in just a couple of puffs. I can use it for my hammock and just keep it tucked in the bag. I'm torn about whether I like that the storage bag is attached or not. On the one hand, it keeps it neat and tidy while not in use but on the other it gets in the way when you actually are trying to use it. I'm also on the fence about the clips it has, for the same reason. On the one hand, that would be helpful for attaching to a chair that supports it, but on the other they're a bit pokey and if I'm using it elsewhere, like in my hammock, it's less helpful.
