The girls and I took a little overnight trip, so I bought these as an activity to keep the five of us entertained. Despite spending the morning braiding hair... These skills did NOT transfer over to macrame.I liked that the lot had literally EVERYTHING you would need- scissors, measuring tape, thread, etc. but the instructions sheets were so vague! It didn't teach you how to do the knot, the imaging was unclear... And it should really include a difficulty level marker. We struggled. I googled how to do each knot.But while I want to try again, the girls? Definitely knot.

This is a nice little set for someone just starting out with macrame. The directions however are a bit difficult to understand at first.

This is the first time I've tried macrame and I enjoyed making the wreath and thought it turned out great! I appreciate the fact that all of the items you need are included with the kit. It was great to have the measuring tape, scissors and comb included and available to use when needed. This kit would make a nice Christmas gift for someone interested in trying macrame. Looking forward to making the other items and attaching the ornaments to my Christmas gifts!

I have never done a macramé project before, but I found myself wanting to do a little craft project. I came across this kit that makes 5 projects. I started with what appeared to be the easiest one. I had no experience with tying the knots, and I agree with some other reviews that the written instructions could be difficult to follow for a true beginner. However, I followed the QR code link to the YouTube video and was able to follow along and figure it out with ease. My kit came with everything shown plus 5 instruction sheets.

The instructions are useless, and the cord isn't even cut to usable lengths.I spent about 10 min cutting and measuring cords because the lengths needer are longer than tge tape measure. Fine. Annoying, but that wouldn't have affected the stars if this kit had been usable.Unfortunately, after 45 min attempting to start a key chain, I had to give up. The pictures don't show how to make the knots, and the video is useless. The person is moving so fast that even hitting pause and unpause over and over, I cannot figure our what they are doing.I watch a lot of instructional videos. The main thing is that you need to move slowly and deliberately so that the viewer can see what you are doing. This person is moving far too fast, and no matter how much I pause and unpause, I cannot sort it out.I bought a kit so I wouldn't have to go search all over the place for instructions and figure out what I needed. I bought this kit bc i wanted to make a specific keychain. I thought a kit would be easier than searching out videos and then choosing a project and then figuring out what to buy.Well, now I have to Google and find instructions, and I have to find instructions created using the amounts of cord in this kit.I deeply regret this purchase.
