Air hammer seems fine. Chisel head didn't last long - couldn't put a groove in a nut on my truck. Had to use an angle grinder. The whole point was to avoid having to use a grinder. Clearly not for any sort of heavy-duty use.

This is a great air hammer, perfect for those stuck bolts or stuck whatever. Or perfect for scaling rusted parts! I love it!

I like the ease of use, and for what I used it for first, cutting open a 55 gal drum, it was light enough to use with one hand and heavy enough to get the job done is about 2 minutes.I am disappointed that it came without a plastic case and it doesn't appear to be available for purchase.

As an ex-professional automotive technician I have been very pleased and impressed with the power and quality of Ingersoll-Rand air impact guns and other pnuematic tools produced by this company. The air hammer appears to be of good quality, but I was very disappointed with the quality of the chisels. I used the air hammer and chisels just twice to remove two bushings out of a suspension piece. After just the second use of hammering on the metal sleeve of the rubber bushing, the chisel was beaten and worn. The metal IR uses for the chisels is cheap and too soft. The air hammer performed well. I guess I'll have to find some quality chisels elsewhere. IR really should invest in some better quality/harder metals and just increase the price a bit.

This air hammer is awesome. It is extremely powerful and was able to remove frozen bolts that I couldn't get out with a torch and sledge hammer. It doesn't come with a nice carrying case (even though it said it would), but it does come with nice accessories. It is a little longer than the others, so it can be tough getting into tight spaces, but the extra stroke works wonders!

If you have glued down engineered wood floor and need a way to get it up, this and a chisel head will do it. I have a small air compressor and need to remove this flooring to put in ceramic. The engineered glue down floor is a joke and the worst to remove when you need to replace it. This little gun blasted it off without crackng up the concrete. The ceramic tile came up so easy I couldn't believe it. Very specific in that I could stop removing tile without damage to the ones I was leaving on. Very powerful and does the job.

After spending hours trying to remove a rusted rear brake cylinder using hand chisels (bruised hands and seems like you never enough room to take a full swing) and a cheap, under-powered impact hammer (good for rust removal maybe) I bought this. If you have any mechanical ability you'll recognize the term "B.F.H." Thrust me this is a "B.F.H."! I wish I had this job would've been done in ½ hour total. I tested on some old bolts and an old tail-pipe it effortlessly chewed through them. Tool is excellent quality it feels heavy and solid. Can't beat the price. It does pack a punch so be careful as you could do some damage to vehicle because this hammer is so powerful. Chisels seem to be good quality but time will tell. Wide assortment & more then I need.
