Compatible With 2003-2010 Ford 6.0 6.0L Powerstroke Diesel - Injector Pressure Regulator Seal Kit Ford 6.0L IPR (Injector Pressure Regulator) Seal/Screen Kit

This kit Compaitble With 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L F250/350/450/550, 2004-2010 Ford 6.0L E-Series Vans, and 2003-2005 Ford 6.0L Diesel Excursions. 6.0L Powerstroke IPR Repair Kit - You may not need a new IPR Valve! - - Genuine International Parts - (fits all 2003 - 2010 6.0L) also fits International VT275 and VT365 The IPR Valve on your Powerstroke is responsible for controlling the pressure in the high-pressure oil system which in turn operates the fuel injectors.

The IPR (injection pressure regulator) is located on the high pressure oil pump at the front of the engine's valley. Because of the high pressures they are responsible for controlling, the IPR valve o-rings are a semi-common failure which will in turn result in such low oil pressure related symptoms as poor idle, stalling, and even a no-start condition. While there are other potential causes, such as a failed IPR valve, the o-rings themselves are often at fault, and are much less expensive to replace.

The IPR valve screen is another common failure. The screen may become plugged with debris and be collapsed by the flow of high pressure oil as it tries to flow through the restricted screen. A torn screen will allow debris to enter the IPR valve which may damage the valve.

This kit includes: (1) Backup ring (1) Orifice O-ring (1) O-ring seal (1) IPR Screen.

Use in place of the following part numbers: 3C3Z9H529A, AP0035.

This list works just as well as the Motorcraft kit that’s going to cost you $70.good quality and a portion of the price.

Works great. Ford 6.0 Diesel repair & maintenance. Remember to use a magnet on a flexible extension to clean out the mounting hole on your HPOP before re-installing the IPR valve with the new screen. There are several videos to show the process. Diesel Tech Ron has several videos that help me keep my diesel running.

I have a lot of debris in my system and these work ok. The casting quality of the plastic isn’t great. The orings aren’t great and get pinched no matter how much lube I use. They do work fine for my use case.

Around 2000 miles after doing a BP oil cooler conversion on my 6.0 my IPR screen began plugging up with debris. The dealer wanted $60 for this screen and orings. So knowing I might need to keep changing screens until I get all the contaminants out I opted for these $7 screens. I purchased extra to keep in the truck so I won't be stranded. So far I think the contaminants are all out and I still have one of these $7 screens in there. Have around 400 miles on it without issues. Will continue to run it if there is no more issues and will update the review if needed. Just make sure to oil your o rings during install so you don't pinch them and cause a tear like some of the other unlucky reviewers here

OK the first thing I want to say is there is nothing wrong with the seal kit, I gave it one star to get attention. Most people will look at the bad scores to see what is wrong with the product. I hope this review helps someone in the future with installation and use of this product. I installed this seal kit after a no start hot on my early 2004 powerstroke. The seals were showing signs of shredding after six years of use. After installing the seals I still have a no start hot and also noticed an overheat in the engine oil. So I ordered a new oil cooler kit and a set of oil stand pipes and dummy plugs as the most likely problem. After the oil cooler I pressured the oil system and noticed air escaping around the number 7 cylinder area. In go the stand pipes and another pressure test and still air leaking. So I resealed the nipples in high pressure manifolds. And still air escaping in the number 7 area. So I install injector seals and it appeared the air leaking had stopped. So off for a test drive and after a few minutes heat soak, no start. So more air and more tests. I start to feel it might be in the high pressure pump area. I pull the turbo and drain tube and hear a sever air leak in the pump area. Off come the pump cover and I check every seal, they all look good. I check the pump and no leak. At this point I'm looking at a can of gas to burn the truck to the ground. As a distraction I decided to clean and paint the pump cover, I like clean looking engines. I took out the IPR out and all of the seals were shredded. There was my air leak! But why? These were new seals and it was not a cheap kit. After watching every YouTube video and looking through hours of Google searches, I come upon the fact that there is an order to the seal installation. In the first photo there are three O rings and a filter cap. One of the O rings is square and not round. The order shown in photo 1 is how the go on, the square one behind the round one, if not the pressure shreds the seals. The second photo is from the company that makes the part for Ford, it also show proper O ring installation.I hopes this helps someone, it was a royal pain to learn for me.

Okay so I was worried this kit was to cheap and I was going to regret my purchase. I had my IPR stick wide open after changing my oil cooler in my 6.0. Bought this kit cleaned the obstruction out of my IPR Valve installed the o rings and the screen. Everything fit nicely. That was a month and 1000 miles ago. I recommend this kit to everyone in my situation
