Looks like I got the new redesign where the screws don’t look like the ones pictured and included washers. These aren’t strong at all and the body flops open all the time when picking it up. The stainless hex screws were too long for the mounting posts so I tried to use the factory screws. The problem is that the screw head broke off so it’s stuck forever now until I can find a drill bit small enough. Last, I’m using these little on the Camel Range Rover model. The body mount has to be mounted all the way down to sit flush. Because of the thickness of the washers, the magnet, and this double sided foam (not a 3m sticker) that was included, it looks like a truck with a “Carolina squat” because there’s a literal body lift in the front. I ended up taking off the foam and hot glued the magnets which mitigated it a little.I was going to install a second set I bought on the Camel Land Rover model since the body post sits higher than the Range and might not have the “squat” issue, but with my experience with the bad quality of magnets, I’m choosing to return it. I’d return this garbage too but since the screw is stuck, I’m stuck with it. I might just remove the magnets altogether and reinstall the velcro on the fancy stuck body mount.

Not sure why the kit I received is different than the pictures, but includes washers as well. The countersunk screw heads go thru the magnets so the washers are required. This causes the screw heads to stick up above the magnet slightly, which reduces magnetic latch.I thought this was a good company with good products, but this is the 2nd purchase that I received that is sub-par. The shocks I ordered from Injoro stick and really aren't good.

I tried hot gluing my own magnets and it was ok, I tried out one of these and it’s way better and stronger connection, I’m going to install these on my other scx24s

Don't buy anything else. I've wasted money trying to save a buck and things haven't been good. This fits as it should and the magnets don't break when you look at them.
