They aren't brass so they are better than stock. Lots of play in the pinion need orings like the OEM ones have.

This under-drive worm gear set works perfectly in my SCX24; very easy to install, and the included o-rings eliminate any gear slop you may have. They include spare/extra o-rings also, so you can modify your existing worm gear set with these to remove any slop that it may have at the same time. It operates smoothly and seems to be built with pretty high precision and quality. Definitely more durable material than the stock brass gears, and price per performance value makes this an ideal upgrade for even a completely stock crawler.

Quality Product! These gears fit perfectly and there is no slop. I put them in my SCX-24 and have not seen any signs of wear in the couple of months I have had them. I would absolutely order them again if I ever needed them.

Installed in my rear axle, and it greatly improved my turn radius and added a noticeable amount of torque as well to the back when climbing over obstacles and keeps the front down betterHighly recommended 👍

Update from below:Seller contacted me immediately and sent the correct gears. One of the original sets was packaged wrong. Gears are working great now!Ordered two sets of gears to put in my truck, one side in the front and one side in the back. Packages arrived, and the part numbers matched on the packages so I assumed all was good. After installing the gears, I have noticed that the ratios do not match, and one set of tires spins a lot faster than the others. Since I’ve already installed, the gears and the packages are ripped to shreds, there is no option for me to return them. And trying to talk to a real person at Amazon doesn’t seem to be an option anymore. I feel like the only thing left to do is order another set of gears at my own expense, and hope that they match the ones that I ordered. Not impressed!

I’ve got two JL‘s. I bought a Set of these 30 under diff gears. Put One set in the back axle of one of the jeeps. I was skeptical, So I played follow the leader, modified Jeep vs stock Jeep axles. The faster front wheels On the modified actually made a big difference, climbing over obstacles. They hold the jeep down in the front, preventing it from flipping over backwards. I was really surprised at how much difference It made. The stock jeep would flip over backwards, and the mod just kept going. I would get them for my FCX 24s, But as far as I know, they’re not available. I hope you guys can start making them for FCX. It’s a great improvement.

They work well and drop in easily. Got a set for both front & rear axles to help increase the torque output to the wheels and slow down my crawling speed for more control. Pleased with the results; would recommend for anyone looking to gain better crawling control & increase stock motor torque.

I’d read reviews from other vendors stating that OD/UD gears from other mfrs can be a tight fit, and possibly cause binding… Not so here. The fit was perfect, and zero binding issues. Under-driving the rear axle has significantly improved the steering radius
