My cat was very ill and I bought 2 of these to make paw prints. It's a small card like material with a film in the middle that has ink on one side. You place the inked side down against a piece of cardstock and then press whatever you're making the image of down on the dry side of the film. That's how you make the print without touching the ink. The concept of this is brilliant really but realized idea is less than impressive. I had 2 of these kits and never got a clean print. The ink was uneven which caused the print to be splotchy or it would smudge. If you're doing something larger like a hand or babies foot you'll only get one crack at it. Maybe it works better for that purpose but for paw prints it didn't work well at all. You'd probably do better using a clay version. I wouldn't recommend it.

There is videos, pictures and of course Handprint and footprints for baby. As a parent who values memories of my children, this product is ideal for me. Using the product is simple and easy. There are no harmful materials in it that can be toxic to the baby; it appears to be quite safe. It records every tiny aspect of my child's hand and footprint. This is all available at a reasonable cost.I highly recommend this product to all moms out there.
