Great for shelf or display cabinet. I'm hoping to find more designs next year. I love the music, lights, and moving train. I wish they made them bigger.

It wasn't until days later after the recipient opened this nutcracker that I realized that it plays multiple songs! It is simply adorable and the lights on are an added feature I love. Now it IS smaller than a standard sized tabletop nutcracker, but the quality is super good. The train going around the bottom of it works great but the best part is definitely the continuous music. I like that it has an on/off button instead of being a wind up.

Once you place (3) AAA batteries in the bottom of the unit and turn the switch on music plays, the train runs around the nutcrackers 's feet, and 2 spotlights with white lights are aimed up at the nutcracker. This is very cute. The painting details are good. The bottom of the unit had old glue sticking out of the rim and should have been cleaned better, but didn't interfere with the actual working of the unit.

Love the nut cracker with the moving train. The music it plays is great too. The only issue is the battery cover falls off. I think that it is missing a screw to hold it in place.
