I mixed it with hot water, not sure why but I did. It doesn't last more than a few minutes and you can add more when needed

We have not used the product yet so I can't verify the quality but did want to mention that the description is very misleading. This is NOT 4oz of product, or anywhere close to that. It's about 20 grams or 4-5 teaspoons of powder. That is enough for 4-5 experiments so may be sufficient for your needs. When it arrived, I was surprised that the bottle was only about 1/3 full and unsealed. I thought it may have been previously opened but after reading the instructions, it did say somewhere in there that it was 20 grams and that is what I received.
