I cannot install this handle on a bolt because the diameter where the bolt head goes in is TOO SMALL !They do not give DIMENSIONS on part as they SHOULD !

I was worried about the threaded inserts that are molded into most other knobs like this. I'm using these for a car-top rack that I built, and dependability is most important. If the nut that I supply pulls out of this knob, the bolt still has a nut on it. And that's exactly what I was looking for. That said, don't expect the nut to ever pull out or fall out. I'm impressed with the perfect friction fit for the nut in these. Once placed, it should stay there for the rest of my years. Of course being me, I also added a drop of adhesive so I will never drop the the nut on the roof of my car.These are exactly what I was looking for. High quality, and they hold a real nut. They feel great in the hand with a subtle texture and great finish with no flash or sharp edges. For those who don't have a drawer full of 3/8 nuts, understand that you'll have to purchase those to make this system complete.

These are well made but the surface that touches the parts is very thin. I will glue a washer there.

Wonderful for quick bolt down applications. These knobs are tight enough to hold the nut secure without having to worry about the nut falling out. They are a great value and a great product. I was amazed Amazon even offered them because a lot of hardware store do not have them. Prime shipping was vary fast and the knobs arrived on the second day after ordering.
