The size I ordered was perfect for joining giant stranded aluminum 220 V wire to standard 10/2 copper wire plus a ground wire to supply power to a new electric hot water heater. The design worked as it should and will prevent dangerous bi-metallic corrosion. The socket-head set screws were very effective to secure wires in place.

I was impressed with the quality of these 3/0 AWG splices. They worked great. There was no torque specs, so, I just looked at the torque specs from identicle ones made in the USA, and torqued them to 215 in/lbs, or 18 foot/lbs. each. I'll definately buy more when I need them.
