Our small cavapoo was scared of the toy at first, barked relentlessly. Next morning he figured it out….chases the toy, grabs by the rope, lets it go and chases again. He has been entertained for over an hour and refuses to give it up now. Plenty of exercise too!

I have only had this toy for a day, my golden retriever approves! Definitely tires her out because she gets all worked up chasing it. Highly recommend, hope this continues. I have to let her play with it in small doses because she gets so excited watching and playing with it.

This review is for the " QGI Interactive Dog Ball, Random Path Electric Automatic Moving and Rolling Dogs Toy with Rope for Small Medium Large Dogs, Motion-Activated Dog Stimulation Toy for Boredom Relief (Red)."IF your dog isn't afraid of this (some are weirded out and don't want to play with it), and is actually interested, I can see this being a good toy to have. I like that it is interactive on its own so they can use it if you are busy or away. I also like that it is rechargeable. There are two speed modes as well. This product includes a replacement "wheel" and rope, so if one wheel is damaged you have a backup. The toy lights up, so can be easier to find in the dark and be engaging. It is pretty good at getting itself unstuck if it goes up against a wall or something, it will just reverse. However, if it ends up on its side, you or your dog will have to pick it up and set it down upright again. It is easy to turn on and off and switch modes with the press of a button. The size is suitable for medium and large dogs, the rope portion would work for small dogs even if the ball is a bit big.

This motion-activated dog ball is designed to keep pets engaged with its random rolling pattern. The two-speed modes allow customization based on a dog’s energy level, and the rope attachment adds extra interactive appeal. It’s a fantastic choice for keeping dogs entertained indoors, especially on hard floors and thin carpets. However, despite being marketed as durable, it’s not ideal for aggressive chewers, as determined dogs may still be able to destroy it over time. The USB charging feature is a nice convenience, though battery life may not last as long as some owners would prefer. If used under supervision, this can be a great boredom buster.

Functionally, it's so cool and fun...for me.My dog was, and is TERRIFIED of this toy, unfortunately. He's a pretty wild one, being just around a year old pitahoula, can be pretty agressive, but was no match for this toy, and runs to a save space to shiver whenever i tried turning it on for him T.T

My dog has a high prey drive due to his breed ( australian shepard & american bully mix) so I was excited to see his reaction to something that he can chase around. My dog can also be very destructive so we go through toys very quickly, I love the fact that it comes with an extra rope and orange piece for the sides. It is surprisingly very tough and sturdy, he was able to unravel the rope within the first two days but the orange sides are much harder for him to get off and tear. The motor is very strong, with two modes of fast & slow to choose from. The motions are to shoot forwards, backwards, spin and rumbles. The only downside I see is that you need to charge it fairly frequently and I wish there was a small piece of material to cover the charging port. It makes me nervous that he's wrapping his mouth around something so exposed.

This interactive dog ball has brought us so many giggles and lots of entertainment! We have a 1 year old Bernese Mountain Dog who is skittish of all things, but tries to sound fierce. We put this toy on the ground for him and the first thing it did was flip itself and chase our dog, it was hilarious. This toy pauses just long enough to peak the dog's interest and as they start to lean in to check it out, it will flip and start going the other way. It took our dog about a week to get brave enough to touch it, another week and he was trying to get the rope as it spun in circles, and by the next week he was able to catch it and start chewing on it. He has since bitten the orange wheel off of it and his goal is to catch it and see how long he can chew on it before it bothers his mouth and he drops it or I find out and take it away. He has not broken it yet, the wheel can be popped back on at this point. I do think if I let him have free play with it that he would eventually break it - he is a power chewer. The company did a great job at providing an extra wheel and rope in the box. I haven't had to replace them yet, but think that was a nice touch. He does dig the wheel out from his toy bin and brings it to us to turn on. It has moved up to one of his favorite toys. This is definitely worth a try. He has enjoyed it daily and we laugh every time he plays with it. The charge lasts for a long time. We do turn it off and put it away, so if you were to leave it on and let it "sleep" I'm not sure how long it would last for. If your pup is a large breed power chewer it might not last, but if they love to play more than chew it's a lot of fun!
