Your cart is empty.Primocon Aerosol Primer is an anticorrosive primer formulated for underwater metal areas including aluminum lower units and I/O's, stainless steel and bronze props and shafts prior to the application of Trilux Prop and Drive, Trilux 33, Trilux II or Trilux. It will provide an excellent barrier to reduce pitting of the metal from galvanic corrosion. Can be used under all International antifoulings or as a barrier/sealer coat over incompatible or unknown antifoulings. Primocon Aerosol meets the stringent California MIR Requirements. Do not overcoat with TBT based paint.

The containers label indicates that the product is 12 ounces; however, there is a sticker with a barcode on the can saying 16 ounces (see photos). Otherwise the primer works well and dries quickly.

I applied this to the outboard on my sailboat because it is mounted in a well in cockpit, and so it stays submerged all the time. After about two weeks it was covered on slime. A few weeks later it looked the same as when I had pulled it in the first place -- covered in barnacles and with a full beard. You're better off just knowing you'll be cleaning your hull and outboard every few weeks and skipping this expensive boondoggle.
