Please read the description of the item first. This package ONLY contains the T hook. The D hook is being shown for reference only. The construction is okay.

Some of the Q&A indicated that these came in pairs...Wrong!! You truly need 2 to do the job, so I had to order another one. The description clearly states only 1 but the picture shows 2, which is a little misleading.

Makes it so much easier to lift hay bales with 2 of these. I tried to use them to lift bags of salt for water treatment but it doesn't really help. I'm sure there are more uses for them - like putting a bunch of grocery bags on the flat part with the point sticking out away from your leg.

I've been using these all season and they are great. Once again a good size, good value, good feel when in use, don't rust or split. Just what I needed.

My mom had this on her wish list. I myself not having a horse, or knowing much about them, how the heck am I suppose to know you need two of these? Should be sold as a pair or something. It made for a disappointing gift. "Here mom...here's half of what you need to move the hay...."

holy crap i wish i had hooks forever ago. this is great. you need two and for the price hell yeah. there are better ones. but you also have to invest. if you are moving hay every day and a bunch of bails then you need better. but these are perfect for me. need to get used to them cause the hook can hurt between the finger. but you get the hang of it quick. the shorter hooks seem to be better for longer arms

Love these things. They work great! I chose the T-handle as I'm a bit old fashioned and remember using them as a youngster. I also figured after hours of picking up bales out of the field, the other handle may have rubbed blisters. So far, the T handle has proven to work like those of yester year. I haven't put them to full, day long use yet, so we'll see when haying time comes around as to how well they hold up to all day use.
