The price when I ordered was $16.99, and that seems a little high, but this tiny radio does pick up stations on both the AM and FM settings. Also, the volume is adjustable and gets loud enough. I do like that it's small for easy carry and storage plus it weighs almost nothing. The headphone port works, too. Oh, and, it has a 3v ac/dc port for a wall power plug source. The only negative is the instructions sheet is completely in Spanish, so they need to include English in the instructions. Maybe, they can add that to the box. Still, considering the many features of this radio, and it's easy to carry or place in your bag, it's a helpful item to have.

This isn't bad for a little emergency radio. If I place it by the window I can surprisingly get several stations to come in. You have to move the dial very slowly in order to get them to come in clearly. I didn't have any luck picking up any AM stations though. It gets loud enough, it's a little battery powered radio so I kept my expectations low as far as sound quality. It'll do in a pinch or power outage.

You need this for your emergency stuff at home! This day and age you never know what can happen and it’s important to have a radio on hand. This is compact, easy to use, and worth having at home. I can’t recommend adding this to your emergency pack enough!

With cheap build quality and cheap sound quality, this radio is limited in it's use but usable for emergency situations. I'm giving it a low two star review because the advertising and product images show this radio being much bigger than what it actually is. I thought I would receive a radio that is comparable in size to a phone or other small emergency radios I have, but in reality, this thing is absolutely tiny. Its' about the size of the palm of my hand. Had I known this, and had the product page been more accurate, I would not have purchased this radio.

Purpose for Product: I typically listen to a small AM/FM radio on headphones while I work outside in the elements. The radios basically have to be sacrificial due to the amount of banging around they get alongwith exposure to water and dirt.Product Inspection: This IPNczuat DK-2017 AM/FM portable radio arrives in a small paper box. Dimensions areaccurate. Two AA batteries are needed that are not included. The dial scale face is in the TINEST font I have ever seen, and the dial direction is backwards fromany radio I have. Instruction manual is included, In Spanish Only.Product Performance: Installed two AA premium brand batteries, noticed that there is not a fabric battery removalstrip installed-first time for that. Plugged my headphones into the 3.5 jack. The volume spindial also is your on/off control. Radio has an external antenna, but I never use it. I am in a majormetro area so dialing in stations isn't that difficult and had no difficulty with this radio otherthan the tuning scale is SO Small. The tuning dial is significantly stiff in operation to keep thedial on the station. Sound on the speaker is as expected and acceptable for this price point.I have put 45 known hours on the batteries and radio is still working. I say known hours becausethe on/off dial turns counterclockwise to turn power off-but for portions of two days I had notturned the knob hard enough to actually be off. Finally figured out you have to push harder toturn on and off.Summary: This is a very simple straightforward no frills portable radio.Battery life seems impressive so far and if you are using rechargeable batteries, you are good to go.Disappointed there was no battery removal strip, manual in Spanish only, and the Tiny, Tiny, Tinyprinting on the dial scale. Price-point seems a little high for such a simplistic radio.

This little radio sure works well and puts out a lot of sound, AM and FM. I ordered it for my emergency kit so it packs nicely. The antenna lifts up and out extending to get a good signal. An on/off dial switch is on the side. The only trouble I have is fine tuning a station in as the larger dial goes right past them if you're not careful. but that is a minor inconvenience. I eventually get it right.
