Worked first time using it now it won’t variable speed. Used prolly 3 times. Not worth the money

The description suggests this is a 3-speed quiet controller instead of a PWM controller which makes a motor buzz when set less than 100% power--which is what this one does. Totally worthless for controlling a fan due to the noise, and will also overheat motors.

But got 3 speeds instead. Variable speed is very desirable on certain “appliances”.
