This kit is a really fun way to learn or continue on your needle felting journey. My son loves axolotls so I got this to make for him and possibly he will help after I show him how easy it is. The kit comes with everything you need, except good scissors and a lighter. The scissors are used to cut the pipe cleaners, so you will need something fairly sturdy to get through the metal center. The lighter is used to melt the hot glue stick, but if you own a hot glue gun you can just use that instead.The instructional videos are LONG (2-3 hours each) and every detail is covered, which I really appreciate. The translation to English is decent and the voice is pleasant to listen to. Bonus: They do not have an obnoxious music track that you have to listen to while viewing.The pipe cleaner details are my favorite part. They are fun to create and make the final product much cuter than felt alone would be. The ONLY thing I could ask for to make this kit better is a 3-prong felting needle to make it go that much faster.

This is a very cute beginner felting kit. It comes with material to make six different axolotls, which includes the wool, eyes, and pipe cleaners. It has two needle handles, leather finger protectors and a bunch of needles in two sizes. Each axolotl has its own page of instructions with a QR code for videos as well as life size pictures of each from the front and side.
