I absolutely love this top-access litter box, and so do my cats! I have one cat who prefers to stand while urinating, and this box is a game-changer. The high sides and enclosed top help contain all the mess, keeping the urine where it belongs, inside the box. No more spraying or splashes around the edges like I used to get with other open boxes. It’s been a huge relief, and my cat seems to feel much more comfortable and secure in this design. The box itself is easy to clean, and I really appreciate the included small scooper. It’s the perfect size for quick, efficient cleanup, especially when I’m in a hurry. If you don’t already have a scooper, this one will definitely come in handy!Overall, this is a fantastic product for anyone with cats who stand to urinate, and it’s made a huge difference in both cleanliness and convenience. Highly recommend!

El arenero es bonito y de buen material, pero su funcionalidad es terrible. No está diseñado para ser un buen arenero, es más bien una maceta o una caja para almacenar cosas. Lo regresamos… Recomiendo que sigas usando los areneros clásicos…

As a proud cat owner, finding the right litter solution has always been a priority for me. This product has been a functional and aesthetically pleasing answer to my cat's bathroom needs.First and foremost, the top entry design provides my cat with the privacy he craves while minimizing litter spillage and containing any spraying within the tall walls of the box. This not only creates a stress-free environment for my feline friend but also ensures a cleaner and tidier living space for everyone. One of the standout features of this litter tray is its thoughtful design, including grooves in the lid that catch lingering litter particles on my cat's paws, preventing them from spilling onto the floor. This has made clean-up a breeze and has helped keep the area around the litter box neat and organized.Additionally, the included scoop with a hook for easy storage is a nice touch, ensuring that it's always within reach whenever it's needed. However, I did notice that the scoop could be of better quality, as it sometimes struggles to hold smaller pieces of litter during cleaning. Despite this minor issue, the overall functionality of the litter tray far outweighs any drawbacks. In conclusion, the litter tray has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and convenience. While there may be room for improvement with the scoop, the litter box itself has proven to be a game-changer in managing litter and keeping my cat happy. If you're in search of a reliable and efficient litter solution, look no further than this top entry litter tray. Your cat will thank you, and so will your floors.

UPDATE: From 3 stars to 4 (would EASILY be 5 if the Design Issue in the original review was addressed)This is BY FAR the best litter box we've ever owned.SET-UP TIPS (EASY once you get the hang of it):- Optional: put some newspaper or a pad down in the tray first- Put in a thick liner (will make litter changes SUPER easy).--- This is what I've used for maybe a year now (the thickest and the best fit I've found): "Ultrasac 2 MIL Thick Cat Litter Box Liners - 36" x 19" - Odor Free Leak Proof Disposable Heavy Duty Jumbo Durable Coreless Drawstring Scratch Tear Resistant"- Slowly lower the outer shell over the tray. As you lower the shell, gently tug on the liner edges (from the outside/along the bottom of the shell) to get the liner to lie as flat as possible on the bottom of the tray. (By getting it super flat, my cats no longer tear the liner. And I no longer need the cardboard I'd been using.)- Pour the litter in, then put the small lid on. (I use Ultra brand crystals; it's very lightweight and works well with the box and liners.)TO SCOOP:- Take off the small, flat top (not the entire shell, as some reviewers suggest); then you'll have full access to the box for scooping.TO CHANGE:- Take off the top and the outer shell, and remove the entire bag. That's it! Now just set up the new bag and litter as described above! SUPER EASY!!! (Oh, and scrape to clean the ridge at the bottom of the shell. It's annoying because they should just redesign this, but the litter comes off MUCH easier than other boxes we've had.)If they ever redesign to remove that ridge, I'd buy a new box in a heartbeat. Also, we keep this box ~2' off the ground on top of a small cabinet used for storing extra litter, scoops, etc. I can scoop without having to bend or squat, so I don't procrastinate as much. 😊ORIGINAL REVIEW:Pros- Less litter scatter after the first day or so- Nice looking- It's a comfortable size for my 2 cats, one of whom is over 20 lbs (not fat, just a HUGE cat), yet the box has a relatively small footprint.- My cats eyed it curiously, then used it without any issues or coaxing when they needed to go.- The unit, so far, seems easy to clean.Cons- LINER/BOTTOM: It takes a fair amount of adjustment to get the liner to lie relatively flat on the bottom. And, even then, the liners move such that they're poking up through the litter, creating lots of hills and valleys in which "things" can hide. Also, the liner tears because of this. I put newspaper UNDER my liner and that helped with the mess. But this seems like it could benefit from some type of disposable "flattening device" inside the liner. I'm going to try using cardboard cut-outs on the bottom inside the liner to keep the liner flat and intact (although that may just soak up urine). Maybe thin, scratch-prooof, flat, plastic, disposable squares are needed on the bottom inside the liner.- EXTRA WORK [DESIGN ISSUE]: There's a seemingly unnecessary lip inside the litter box near the bottom that collects urine and gunk. So, more to clean for no apparent benefit.- TOP: Only some of the ridges on the top point toward the opening. If they all did, it would take ~10 seconds to sweep all the litter on top (and there's LOTS of it) back into the litter box. Instead, some ridges run parallel to the opening, so you have to forcefully brush perpendicular to the ridges to get the litter back in the box. Much messier and longer than necessary if the ridges all pointed to the opening.SET-UP: This replaces an enclosed cabinet set-up. For now, I've got the litter box on top of the cabinet, and it's a decent height so I'm not bending to the floor to scoop. I might give the interior a super-duper cleaning and use it for storing extra litter and other non-food cat supplies beneath the litter box. We'll see.

Wanted a covered litter tray for 2 cats. Size is okay, however, it is made of cheap, thin plastic and cracked when setting it up
