Worked well except that it’s a hassle to reach down a lift the non-wheeled side to pull it across the shop. With full rolls of wire it’s heavy enough that being crouched over and going 60’ through obstacles of a workshop is a bit cumbersome. As such I attached a rope to that end so I can lift and pull it like a leash. Problems solved

This heavy duty welded steel wire pulling caddy by IRON FORGE CABLE is probably one of the finest that I have used in nearly 50 years of telecommunications and electrical work. The frame itself is made of very heavy square tube steel very nicely welded and quality painted with a blemish-free finish. The castors are very heavy duty as well, with solid brakes. The ability to insert your own rod, in addition to the very heavy duty aspect of the frame, allows you to make the caddy hold as many spools as you want, allowing for multiple cables in the same run. It's small size makes it most appropriate for small spools, but it also makes it very easy to pack up and store when finished.There are two small improvements that would make this already great frame that much better. First, knobs on the shaft rather than wing bolts would make it easier to assemble and disassemble on the job site. Second, a raised handle on the opposite end of the frame from the castors would make it much easier to roll the frame from location to location on the job site, especially when it is loaded with heavy spools. The IRON FORGE CABLE wire spool rack and cable caddy is very well built. The steel tubing is approximately 12 gauge and welds are solid. It will accept up to a 1" bar to hold your wire spools and can handle a spool up to 18" in diameter. I'm using a length of 1" iron pipe for my cross-bar and have used it with a large spool of cable weighing about 80 lbs with no issues.

This Cable Caddy Spool Holder by IRON FORGE is made as expected. The frame is quality steel it's decently welded. The overall finish is well done; consistent and smooth. It has 360 swivel casters at one end; at the time of ordering I failed to realize that this spool caddy though similar to many others on the market does not have casters at both ends.Having 360 casters on one end makes it easier to transport but not as easy as have casters at both ends.Having casters at both ends would make this highly portable and would make this a great option for remote work but the lack there of will no doubt make using this a bit more challenging.The design isn't ideal when it comes to my needs of remote travel and the wheel locks are rather pointless be that the other end is stationary.Overall the build quality is nice and it does it's job of holding a spool/spools. I think this spool caddy by IRON FORGE is best suited for stationary shop use vs remote work. They say organization is the key to success so if you're in need of decluttering your workshop this is a spool caddy worth considering.UPDATE:I initially ordered this for remote use transporting and holding bolts of upholstery fabric but realized it would be more trouble than it’s worth due to a lack of 4 casters.As a small business owner and by character I tend to work alone and if you’ve ever shrink wrapped anything you know more often than not it’s a two person job. Today I discovered this Little Helper as I’ve named it is very versatile and made shrink wrapping Sofa cushions easy.

This wire spool rack seems to work well for small wire spools. The wire spool rack features wheels on one side of the wire spool rack that allow the user to easily relocate the wire spool rack by picking up one side of the rack and rolling it into the desired position. This wire spool rack is not vary tall, so it wont work with large wire spools, however, the rack is heavy-duty and robust enough to handle several spools of wire at the same time. This wire spool rack will work well for many smaller low-voltage wire spools.
