The bits appear to be square but in 2 drills and a driver the bits wobble. A another Dewalt combo bit with a thicker shaft did not experience the wobble. If you can live with a wobble, they may work for you, but I threw them in the spare drawer.

The IRWIN Impact Screwdriving Bit is a fantastic tool! The double-ended design with Square 2 and Phillips 2 tips is super convenient—you only need one bit instead of two, which makes it incredibly versatile. The bits are durable, handle heavy-duty impact driving with ease, and fit securely in screws without slipping. Plus, the 2-pack is a great value. Highly recommended for anyone needing reliable and long-lasting bits!

Solid, sturdy bits. One thing that surprised me was that they were little too tight to fit into my dewalt drill bit sleeve. The bits fit into the impact driver just fine, so perhaps that's just the nature of having a double-sided bit.

So generally Irwin makes good quality bits; and it is too early for me to know about the durability of these bit so I will start by assuming these will stand the test of time. But I can say I really like the size and double-end choices on these bits. That is PH2 and SQ2 or Square #2 and Philips #2. Removing those old rusty square bits (they seemed to be everywhere in the 90's) and replacing them with new Philips-head bits is something I've done a lot of and being able to use a sleeve and quickly flip the driver saves a bunch of time!

These are really good impact bits for most outdoor projects. I often will use either Phillips or square for projects like decking or siding. These are perfect to flip it over and switch between them. They are strong bit and well made and attach perfectly to my impact driver. After driving or removing a dozen or so screws, I don't even notice any wear. They seem like they are going to last awhile.Overall, great bits to have in the toolbag--you are going to use them!

99.99% of my time I find myself switching between either a Phillips bit or a square bit. For my square bit, I typically just use the bit that came with my Kreg jig - and this has worked nicely for me. But sometimes, I find myself with screws for a project that I grab from my toolbox....thinking they are all Phillips or all square...and I get one bit. Then I realize I need another and have to return to my toolbox - and this usually only happens when I am not close to my toolbox (of course!).So I saw this bit and knew I had to have it. What an absolute game changer and time saver for me. I grab one bit and go - and 99.99% of time it is exactly what I need. The bit feels super strong - it even is a bit thicker than the standard dual-sided Phillips bit that I use (which is made my Bosch). Time will tell how well this holds up to repeated use and abuse - but so far I am finding this to be one of those super simple things that make things so much easier. Highly, highly recommended!

These bits seem to be a decent quality for what you get. Irwins impact driver bits seem to hold up decently well for their intended use. I only use bits like these casually, so I cannot speak from a commercial standpoint, but these seem good!

These bits seems to slip and then are just junk for garbage

The ends are too long and they do not fit securely in my impact driver. Obviously Irwin has to improve their quality checks on these. Product returned.

As an electrician swapping between Phillips and Square, Drive. This bit makes it seamless. They are durable as well. Definitely worth the price
