I am disabled and lifting the iron is out of the question. I use this product to work around my issues. I gives me a great workout. It is a bit pricey, but for me it is well worth it to start getting my health back. Highly recommend it.

Bad directions, they want you to buy an expensive book, but don’t tell you that when you buy ! Filling out return now!

This setup wasn't cheap, but it was worth it on a few fronts.I found the bar itself to work well, and charge without any issues. You don't need the bar of course, but it nice to have some audible feedback and to know roughly how much force you're putting on the bar when you're lifting. The base itself is awesome. I also have the X-Bar system (which I highly recomment) with their 2.0 bands and they work so freaking well with this base. The base itself is very high quality and something you can probably integrate if you have any sort of band system that you work out with. The strap that you use with the bar and thread under the base works well too. I can't imagine it ever wearing out, so this is a nice little set that works extremely well and that you can slip under the bed or lean in the corner without it taking up a bunch of space.I would also suggest downloading a book on isometric lifts, if you're not familiar with them. There are more lifts you can do than you'd probably realized and the range is incredible. I recommend this product for shizzles.

This thing is great but a bit on the expensive side. But I am glad I bought it.Can still train with a damaged arm and shoulder. For the price I would have liked to see a protective case for the bar though. All in all a good purchase for me. It is the bar with the different modes that makes it very usable

I have been working with this for a few weeks now. I'm an experienced lifter and have trained for decades with free weights, bands, plyometrics, etc. This tool gives me a method for training when I want to give my joints a break, and also to more safely apply maximum force/tension into a specific position. In my experience, the ability to guage max force output is a total game changer over other overcoming isometric tools that provide no feedback. In the end, all that matters to me is safety and strength gains. Well, the results after just 3 weeks have been stunning for me, as some of my readings are 3x+ from where I started, and I already can see it carrying over into my dynamic lifts (I am significantly breaking through previous plateaus). It was a gamble to spend a lot of money on this equipment, but after 3 weeks, I'm glad I did. I'll update my review if anything changes.

I love my IsoMax. I am middle age, I had the normal aches and pains you would expect for someone my age. Back, knee and tricep tendonitis. I have been using the IsoMax for 4 months, my aches and pains have faded to nothing. My blood pressure has also improved and i have effortlessly gained muscle. And i am only using it 2x per week, some weeks i throw in some bodyweight exercises but only if I feel like it.This machine is well worth the money, it will last you a long time. Also, the battery life of the handle is ridiculous. In 4 months it has only dropped 1/3. The IsoMax will be the foundation of my strength training for the foreseeable future.

I love the Isomax! Extremely efficient workout equipment that works every muscle and strengthens your tendons as well. My strength levels are through the roof since I have been using this product. It weighs very little and has versatility to work all muscle groups. The ease of use is remarkable.

Overall a decent device. The length and weight of the chain is far greater than necessary (based on existing leg/back dynamometers Ive used). This is the main use of the device as isometric exercises for most other joint movements are easily done without equipment. The handle is slightly thicker than a standard bar. You may or may not like this. The computer itself has a nice timing feature if going for holds. Overall, though, perhaps [ay up for a traditional analog leg/back dynamometer for the purposes of precision and portability. Time will also tell about the durability of the foot plate and sustained accuracy of the dynamometer. I don't like the upward bowing of the foot plate with all but a very narrow stance. Hopefully it will not warp.

I know the marketing of Dragon Door products can be grandiose, but the isochain is still an amazing tool. I've always liked training heavy, but I have been plagued with persistent joint pain and injuries through most of my training career. I became interested in the isochain as a way to build maximal strength without risking injury. After having it for a few weeks, the results have been exactly what I wanted. My lifts are up by 20-30 pounds in almost every exercise, and my joints feel great. I'm even stronger at unusual exercises I haven't trained directly, like one armed pushups and front levers. It feels like I've only begun to tap into my strength potential. For hypertrophy, muscular endurance, or anaerobic conditioning, I think there are other methods to get similar or better results. Not that the isochain doesn't work for these things, I just think that you could achieve them with traditional exercise. It's simply on par, not superior. But for pure brute strength and injury prevention, there is nothing that has ever come close to the isochain. I wouldn't have believed the results if I had not witnessed them firsthand.I like to pair it with my resistance bands and a bullworker to train every part of the body. The isochain is better for compound lifts where I use the bands and bullworkers for accessories. As a weird side effect, I actually have made great strides in hypertrophy and my cycling performance. Simply because being stronger has made me able to get more out of those workouts.
