This router bit lasted all but 20 minutes before it burnt out. I purchased it because it had the fastest delivery available. After 20 minutes of dado cuts, it was burning and smoking beyond manageable.

I bought this because it was half the price of Bosch and other brand name router bits. The cost difference was about 12-14 bucks. As soon as it arrived, I could tell that the bit is not well made. The cutting edges don't look sharp and even had a really small dent on one of the flutes. As a backup I ordered the Bosch bit as well.See the picture for the day and night difference in quality of cut. Both were done at exactly the same settings. I also noticed that I could go a lot slower with Ivy bit than with Bosch bit. The bosch bit was smooth and just cut through material while the Ivy classic had a rumble/vibration as it cut (likely because they are not sharp).Waste of time. Sent it back. Will stick with high end brands.

Ordered a couple different 23/32 for dadoing plywood, and while this one is a decent bang for the buck, it was half the sharp edges as the other brands I purchased. I’ll update after a few months of use.
