For the money, not too bad. I mean, its really inexpensive. Its only mildly directional, but it is directional, and has some serious hiss/fuzz. If you are micing someone who speaks rather loudly, it would prob not matter too much. But, its definitely not professional grade. The build quality seems good though. Its fairly comfortable, the gooseneck works pretty well. The plug gets stuck in pretty hard.

The microphones were used in the Silver Fox Follies with singers and performers. The sound quality was good and they were comfortable to wear. I will order more in the future.

I hesitated, but once I received and tested the products, it worked well.It required to play with gain on the mic receptor, in the mixer channel and EQ. But finally once I have it ready it worked perfect. Feels solid. For me this is kind of "L" size, wich works well for L and M sizes.I am using this with a Shure GLX D+ system and works perfect.

The unidirectional configuration makes the big different. It sounds clear and much louder than the Shure one (omnidirectional) that I had. Less feedback and clear sound. If it can adjust the ring size, than it could be 5 stars

We have had this same brand for years, and for a couple of weeks were getting feedback so after church I talked to the sound guy and he was unsure of what the problem was. I asked him about the mic and he said it has been years since they replaced it. So I ordered two of these and used one last night. The sound came through very clearly with no feed back. I use it for the teaching, and not for worship. So I can't speak to that but for what we use it for this mic is great.

Since both of my wireless mic systems need a mini-plug input I also bought a mini-plug to mini-XLR adapter. Well, there must be more than 1 type of mini-XLR because these do not fit together. It is male to female, but the standard is 3 pins and the headset is 4 pins. This distinction is not clearly indicated in either product and now I'm stuck scouring amazon for the right product and not getting anywhere! What is this 4-pin plug supposed to plug into?

I have reviewed these before but they definitely deserve another.Recently I had the opportunity to compare directly to the famous Countryman E6. Well .... it was a completely unfair competition .... the JK won hands down. Better sound. Less (virtually no) feedback. More output. The church pastor asked the price, after spending 300+ on the Countryman, and was incredulous when I told him the low price.I think Countryman is far overrated and overpriced. No microphone is worth that kind of money and JK proves it. It is NOT bulky at all, and the included windscreens are the same quality as SHURE, Audio Technica or any others. The Countryman required a lot of EQ while the JK needed almost none. The bendable mini gooseneck is FAR superior to the stiff boom style. Some people have "high price awe" and are disparaging about anything that they consider cheap, but these little mics prove that you don’t need to spend a lot to get good quality, and in this case, great quality.

I use this on a boat that gets exposed to weather and salt air. I go through mics. I have used Shure, Samson, audiotechna, and other cheaper mics. For the price this one cant be beat. Very Loud and clear. The flexibility of compare to the solid wire Shure ones is a great benefit. I have 9 captains that use the mic through out the week so they are constantly adjusting it to fit their face. So far they have held up as long as any better mic I have purchased. So for a PA I highly recommend.

When started using this we found we had dead spots around our sanctuary (we use it for church). I figured it was our new mic system, but I bought another mic actually cheaper than this one and the dead spots went away.

I may not have given this product a fair chance but for our situation it's a no. We tried it with a Shure blx4 wireless set up (which is not a super high quality system but works for us right now). Smaller church, we don't mind spending money of quality but also always looking for a decent find at a decent price point. I was nervous when only paying I think $36 or something like that for it and... The sound quality and appearance is definitely $36. I would say for an auctioneer or maybe an event where sound quality is not so important this could work. Also the product is quite bulky and unsightly. I hate giving poor reviews. Bottom line, it worked but poor sound quality and I was expecting something slimmer and less noticable. May have been wishful thinking on my end so take this review with a grain of salt.
