If had a smaller size, would've kept as has zero noise floor, and doesn't induce echo when amplified on loud speaker. Bumer!

Seems like a pretty high quality mic. Definitely designed for voice applications so the mic legitimately cuts frequency below 100hz and really attentuates the low end. See the picture of the EQ curve on our x32. I would say it even rolls off the low end up to 250hz or so. Plosives really come out though without the wind sock thingy. Will have to try that later and see if that helps.

So many earhook headsets shift around while I wear them. Having one that hooks over BOTH ears keeps this one in place. Since I use it for Zoom, I don't have to worry about "hiding" that I'm wearing a mic that runs around the back of my head. I like that it also has a clip to keep the wire from dragging the mic away from its position, should the wire get bound-up. The sound quality is good, too.

I couldn't return them because I threw out the boxes, but I even tried to replace the trs jacks on my two sets, to no avail. no matter what kind of adapter or device I tried to plug either into, it never had clean contact to make a strong connection when plugged in fully. I've had to pull the end out most of the way and situate them very oddly in order to get any kind of usable signal from the mic into any device or adapter I have tried in the last almost year.Do something about this.

I ordered this, the Sennheiser ME-3, the Audio Technica and the Pyle to do a shoot out. I was on the hunt for podcast mics I can use in the field with guests. I had been using some omni lavalier mics that picked up way too much room noise and guests would bleed into each other's mics too much. The goal was something the guest didn't have to think about once it was wired up, quality sound, decent sound rejection.Sennheiser sounds the best, but needs more gain and isn't physically adjustable. AT sounded very tinny. Pyle sounded great, but was hard to keep in place. This one had great gain (needed 30% less than Sennheiser), was very adjustable. It had some plosive issues, but adding a 80hz low cut and adjusting location helped.Good noise rejection. Really nice sound - almost as good at the Sennheiser. Really impressive.Short cable, so I recommend adding a 3.5 cable extension.

Done a quick test with my Sony UX 570 on the lowest gain settings and as expected the mic volume is a bit lower that advised, but that's actually perfect, since I can tweak the volume in post and hopefully that will help with background noise. The mic is fairly small, the images don't do it justice overall, so far, I'm happy with the product.Had a small issue with the package the circle seal was opened when I got it. But the amazon cardboard wrap was intact so I can only assume it was done pre amazon packaging ... either way all the accessories are there and the mic works.

I had been looking at the RODE HS2, but those aren't cheap. This has a very similar design, but with metal ear hoops, rather than silicone. I've worn them for several hours at a time. The sound is good and they never became uncomfortable... almost forgot it was there, even wearing glasses over them.

Due to the price to performance I've given this a 5 star rating. I'm using this mic for VR live streaming; paired with the Rode Wireless GO, Yamaha Mg10Xu, Cloudlifter CL-1, & VoiceMeeter. It took a bit of tweaking to get it tuned but once I did I was able to get it very close to the sound quality of my Shure SM7B. I'd be very curious to try out one of the more expensive ($200-400) mic's to compare to this one but for now I'm content. I do recommend this mic.

I use this while recording voice-over while creating screen-capture video tutorials for my business. I didn't like wearing a full ear-covering headset as it was uncomfortable. I didn't need to hear sounds from the computer -- I just wanted to be able to record my voice while demonstrating software on my PC. This headset works well for my purposes. Adjustable mouthpiece, no popping, seems to mask external noise (aside from my voice) fairly well.

The MIC-J 069 is an affordable microphone that sounds better than many gaming headsets. You can wear them with or without headphones, and you don't need a giant microphone in front of your face. This is remarkable because it's a headworn cardioid mic that can be plugged directly into a PC or similar device with a 3.5mm microphone input. No mic preamp needed! The impedance and voltage are in the range of standard sound card inputs, and it has a 100% standard 3.5mm plug (which is 3-conductor TRS, but I don't believe it's balanced). It came with two windscreens and a very sturdy cable clip. It's great to use for streaming or VoIP - assuming you know how to manage the signal. These kinds of mics are sensitive and crisp, and benefit from at least a bit of EQ, preferably with a compressor. In Windows, I'm using "Equalizer APO" to run an EQ and compressor at the system audio level, providing improved audio to all apps (Discord, OBS, TeamSpeak, in-game VoIP).The construction is decent, probably fine for medium-duty stage or lecture work. My only issues are that the earhooks aren't really flexible or adjustable. I wrapped a bit of soft medical tape around the tops to be more comfortable.

The J-069 is a light weight 'lip boom' mic with a directional (cardioid) pick up pattern so it does not pick up much background noise, enabling your voice to be heard in noisier environments - or generally cutting background noise to give you a clearer voice recording, eg near a computer fan.It is a noisier (more hiss) than JK's excellent J-044 omni directional lapel mic but it seems to be about 6db more sensitive. It requires 35-40 db of gain to get good levels on normal 'quiet' speech with the mic close to the mouth. Hiss is noticeable at 40db gain but subsides at 35db. This is easily filtered out in post production without creating artefacts (drainpiping) since the hiss is fairly uniform and fairly low volume. Having a cardioid pick up pattern, this mic exhibits the proximity effect - it emphasises bass sounds since it is used close to the mouth. So it can sound deep (may be too deep) and rich with a male voice. Again, it responds well to equalisation in post production. It is sensitive to wind and drafts - when pushing a door open to walk through inside a house the 'suction' draft can cause buffeting on the mic with only the small foam pop shield fitted. To get the best recordings and avoid breath sounds and plosives the mic needs to be set slightly to the side of the mouth and just above. A bit of experimentation setting the boom length and elevation will determine the optimum position for each person. Conclusion : A reasonable mic for the price to do a specialist job where you need to minimise background (environmental) noise - but be prepared to do a bit of tweaking afterwards to get the best out of it to yield professional sounding audio.
