So far every connection leaks, the hooks ups are NOT 1.5 inches so becareful of hoses that you buy separately because they will NOT fit. The instructions to set the pump up are terrible, there are not enough details to cover the whole operation, such as why is there a low and high pump setting, that is not described anywhere, look for something else.

Upgraded to this pump for our costco bestway pool. The original just did not have the capacity to do the job! We also installed an above water skimmer. The pump and filter is so strong and made a night and day difference! Totally worth the investment! includes all the adapters to fit on original hoses. You will need 75lbs of silica sand .45-.55 grain.
