Caution! This supply puts out 16.55 Volts. I know it is unregulated, but this is quite a bit more than the advertised 12 Volts DC. Will return item rather than take a chance. 😕

After searching for a replacement charger, I was hoping this one would be updated - but no - it's the same brick that come with the tool. It works, but is not the newer switching type. After I bought this one, I found another charger (smaller and lighter) that works just fine - and has newer technology.
