I am about 60% done with the project. I love the design and the colors. There is so much detail in the picture and it is beautiful. The problem is that the materials are not great quality. The floss included in the kit breaks and tangles easily and the fabric frays very easily. I was using a scroll frame and the fabric started ripping on the side. It's very frustrating to work with. I also feel like the fabric is too small because there is not much room left outside of the design area. Considering how easily it frays, I'm worried about the fabric falling apart before I can finish stitching. The guide includes equivalents for DMC Floss, so I would recommend using your own floss and fabric for this one.

Absolutely lovely colors and design. Because of the intricate design and color variations, I wouldn’t recommend it for a beginner cross stitcher. Many hours of stitching, all worthwhile.
