Beautiful easy pattern, love the colors, need larger than 5x7 frame to see all the detailed work. Be sparing with blue floss but they do indicate DMC color numbers of all thread. I loved it, bought more Aida cloth and made 2 with extra floss I had!

There was not enough Aida fabric to hold the work in a 4" hoop. The design is close to all the edges, and there is not enough extra fabric for the hoop to hold it securely. I had to sew on extra material to all sides in order to tighten/straighten the fabric. Also, the flowers are purple in the picture, but the threads are blue. The small print on the chart had to be enlarged to be read comfortably under a magnifying glass.

The pink and dark pink colors were nearly identical and the fabric enclosed was barely 5 inches by 7 inches. I had to cut a piece on my own fabric to be sure I had enough.

My expectations were not extremely high, but I was definitely not satisfied with it. The fabric was cut all crooked and was pretty much exactly 5x7, so no extra wiggle room. (makes a pain for framing) The colors came presorted, unlabeled but presorted so I'll give them that....IF they got all the colors correct, which they didn't. The pattern called for 2 shades of pink and 3 shades of blue, and I ended up only getting two shades of blue and an extra shade of pink that didn't even match the other colors, so I ended up having to use my personal stock of thread for it, which was my whole reason for getting the kit...so I didn't have to fuss with organizing colors. As for the pattern, it looks exactly like the photo, so if you just want this for the pattern, then go for it. Other than that, I'd just recommend buying a kit from the local craft store, or a crafting website like Etsy.
