I've been looking for "big asian spoons" for a while. Once I searched for spoon with hooks, then I found these, and I love them! Nice and big and I can just hang them from the bowl when I'm not using it. Highly recommended!

It is a great spoon for broth and wonton soup... actually it is the only soup spoons we use now.

This is not the spoons' fault--this is a standard shape for this type of spoon. I just forgot that with these short spoons, you can't just let go of your spoon if you have a large bowl. It will just slide down into the soup. I just got some more that are a bit longer, with little hooks on the end.
