We use this to separate nugget ice that’s melted together in the freezer. It’s sharp and more effective than a knife. It seems well made and I like that it’s made in Japan. The grip is easy to hold and we wipe it dry after every use before storing. The only thing is there is no long term cover for the pointed tip, but we keep it in the drawer away anyway.

My hubby is boujee making clear ice for cocktails and we end up with leftover hunks for regular drinking ice. This works better than I could have imagined at breaking those up. I’m a fan!

Too delicate. Tip broke of after about 25 uses. I do use in a 9" X 12" tub to break up for inflammation treatment....but it didn't last. Probably would last longer for less hard core uses.

Well made & description is accurate. The only problem & reason I didn't give 5 stars was the top metal cap gets so cold if you leave it in the freezer you need a paper towel ect to cover the top so you can hold it.
